Sammyswordsman
SJB was the better team. Everyone saw that. Their kicker was a bit on the jittery side, but that's normal for week 1 on the road. IF the game was in CA. then SJB wins easily
Sammyswordsman
Vista Murrietta best player transferred to Mater Dei after the game was scheduled. With a new QB, this was a bad matchup. Usually Calif teams have the best QB's. There are probably 10+ Calif teams that would have easily scored 28+ off Collquitt.
Sammyswordsman
Hoover hasn't been the same since the TV show ended. They only have the name recognition, but are a shell of their former selves. Hoover will not be a top 100 team in 2017.
ATLien12x
Demathas RB and LB got hurt! And Gormans QB is like a created player on NCAA 2007
Sammyswordsman
Dematha dominated BG in the first quarter when all their guys were healthy. Dematha should stay in the top 10. You can't drop teams who dominate BG in Vegas. BG is overrated in my book. They can't handle east coast teams and got VERY lucky last night.

Sammyswordsman
SJB would have scored on 1st and goal, but they wanted to see what STA would do if their o-line gave a 50% effort
Sammyswordsman
SJB would have punched it in on 1st and goal, but the play script called for horizontal sweep type plays. Everyone knows Negro is a slave to his play script

Sammyswordsman
Perrennial Nor Cal CIF finalist Pittsburg would have beat Cen10 if their QB wasn't hurt
Sammyswordsman
Calif OOS record is deceiving. We like to look at a lot of players to get ready for league. After week 5....different story. We also like to take practice time off so the kids can soak in the local sites. Education for the kids is more important than a pre league football game
Bodysurf
DLS would not have won last night if the refs had made their offensive line get set before the snap.

NicholasMalibu
Fertitta walked out of the press box and and gave every referee a $1k handshake after DeMatha went up 10-0. Saw it with my own eyes.

Understood but shouldn't of been a handoff ... qb keep was the call that close. Can't let STA get penetration while mitchell turns back and gives ball to RB. If they had a trick play for a 2 pt conversion you'd think they'd use it there. Seems both HC's were overly cautious on O. The 1 yard line I still have a bad taste about from last year man... the BTW game ending was brutal. Less than a fucking yard and STA lines up with 5 wide from the previous play and doesn't spike it.
