Crazy, isn't it?

Yup.  Crazy to be an angry white person, with a gun.  Age 18?  Perfect.  N.R.A. circle jerk if senate passes.

Better lock it up for safety.  Oops, what safety is there if it’s locked?  How quick is your “non stressful” reaction to securing your locked gun?

Do you yell freeze to the intruder?  “Just you wait buddy boy” until you secure your sharpshooter?

Help me understand.  Oh, it’s not locked and it’s already loaded?  Gotcha, no accidents waiting to happen there.  Do the kids also know the gun is not loaded at night?    Help me understand… we’ve got some angry white adrenaline pumping keyboard specialists here.

They have been sold on fear. From the perspective of a black man that keeps himself informed, the picture of a fearful bunch of people, some expecting blacks to try and enslave them as revenge.

Many fear losing their social status. The prestige that came with being a white male in America is now tarnished. That in itself, is not the only concern. The population of Hispanics will soon overtake that of whites. This will lead to, they fear, a loss of representation in controlling the government.

Much of their fear is of their own doing. At some point, careers became more important to whites and reproduction decreased, causing an immediate reaction in the social fabric. This was an unintended consequence.

Young white males are feeling the pinch. It is amusing in a way and would be more comedic if not for the loss of mental control and people get hurt.

65 kids shot in Chicago so far this year.

11 of them dead.

Remind me why the outrage patrol keyboard specialists are curiously silent about this roughly all the time. In fact, clue me in on why it pisses off certain fine folks in the outrage patrol that it ever gets mentioned. We're talking about savings lives, right? BLM I guess.

Sure you don't.

You just rarely if ever mention it on this board, unless it's to get pissed off that someone else does.

👍

What’s next, tag you’re it?

Anything to stay away from topics I’ve replied to today.
Awfully quiet on those… crickets.

Why does more stringent gun lobby chats always go to Chicago and black crimes?   If anything, you’re making my point for me.   Why would I care what the color of the skin is for innocent deaths?  That’s some twisted stuff, but no surprise.  All innocent deaths suck.

But you get outraged at the far less frequent ones and avoid addressing the far more numerous that may actually hit closer to home.

Tag I’m it….

Tulsa, Oklahoma 1921 wasn’t exactly hitting close to my family’s home.  Learning about this event disgusted me.

I don’t feel the need to avoid it and sing Columbus sailed in 1492, 1493, 1498 and what, 1502? or rate events on a magnitude of historical significance, as if to brush away a Tulsa 1921 for Columbus.

Anyone ever hear of Leif Eriksson?  No, not a hockey player in the NHL.  :)

There’s plenty of people loading their own rounds these days.  The supplies and equipment are ubiquitous.  Do you think criminals buy their ammo at the local Cabela’s, Turners Outdoorsman, Sportsman’s Warehose, or from a guy they know.

Why is the knee-jerk reaction from the left to shootings like in Nashville to look to curb the access of law-abiding citizens to their 2nd Amendment rights?

Isn't it logical to suspect that someone wanting to commit mass murder is not going to worry about gun laws and ridiculous "gun free zones"? In fact isn't it logical to reason that such people would actually be attracted to such locations?

The knee-jerk reaction seen on this board and elsewhere is "assault weapons ban!!!!!!" and "no guns under 21!!!!!". Well, she/they/ze/whatever was 28 and used a 9mm weapon, at least when she shot out the glass doors to get in.

Mandate more secure and entry doors and protocols.

Hire more cops and military as security. My boys went to a public high school in a reasonably affluent Atlanta burb and they had such security.  Maybe a diversity officer is more important for some.

These are simple, common sense changes that any reasonable person could see would increase the safety and security of our children enormously.

But common sense and reasonable are not necessarily politically expedient or part of the narrative. Right?

Because those law abiding citizens keep shooting and killing children.

They shot up churches.

They shot up nightclubs.

Take the guns from those law abiding citizens before they add to the list.

How?

Take the guns......for the sake of all.

The needs of the many outweighs that of the few.
