golfaddict1
Gunna have to take some time and review the specifics and give an honest opinion. I’ve always tried to be transparent… Without knowing the specifics, I’m not jumping for joy. My business suffered greatly during Covid and I had to dip into $ I never thought I’d have to prior to age 59 (Roth option if needed). I fricking hated doing it, but the IRS offered a deal to pay back the withdrawal without fees within 3 years and my wife and I paid it off the same tax return year and we even received a refund, I believe, that year because our deductions for the home office and other business expenses didn’t stop, while our income did. But I stress… I don’t know the details that I’ve been hearing about for several years, but will soon and then I’ll reply back.
Troll
PSSssssst.... Case unrelated to Biden’s student loan forgiveness That policy has nothing to do with the class-action lawsuit by allegedly defrauded borrowers. a class-action lawsuit brought by student loan borrowers who say they’ve been defrauded by their schools. PS: you fool...

On one hand, I think it is unfair that some get bailed out and others have had to pay it back, with a great set ack in their financial lives. On the other hand, things have changed. A 4 or 5 year college degree is no longer holding the prestige it once did. A job is not guaranteed as it once was. Today, a tech college education is a far better choice than a 4 year degree and that can be accomplished in a short manner. If I took both my views and weighed them in my mind, I probably am in approval.

Wife and I setup FL college prepaid accounts for our 2 kids, so we didn’t have to worry about tuition payments as the accounts were paid off prior to college starting. Actually, I have paperwork to fill out as we have a credit balance in my daughter’s account to clear. She received a scholarship in undergrad, so tuition credits were not used with FL prepaid. Our daughter finished her undergrad in the heart of Covid and finished her masters last year (Europe). Her tuition was free, but her accommodations and f&b etc wasn’t. Of course we helped her. She hated it, but tough. Argue with your kids one day.
