Texasball
I have seen Aledo many times over the years - this group will go undefeated this year and next unless they schedule someone truly special. They have pretty young team this year with ton of JR'S and big time Soph RB who is hurt and another Bishop at QB who is also only soph. Seemed like just about every single time someone made big play - they was only JR.
Texasball
Aledo has quality size in the OL and DB's. I was impressed with hard hitting 6'3" 215 safety only JR

Grainraiser
Allen is solid but they are not as good as they have been in years past. They benefit greatly from the demise of ET and Skyline. Duncanville and Coppell are the only teams who could push them in that region. No, you were implying that there could be a problem in Allenville bc they were playing what you perceived as a weak Martin team to a low scoring scrimmage . You believed it so much that you picked cedar hill to beat Allen week 1 in the Pickem. 😉

I told you to evaluate teams once the season started. We don't run scrimmages here like the rest of the country where they are Jamborees. I told you about Allen and their lack of gameship bc it's relevant, at that stage it's irrelevant what effort Martin put towards the scrimmage bc whatever level that was, we know that there was a lack of Allen playing their 1s significantly or being conservative in play calling (their HC literally said everyone would play in the scrimmage!) Nonetheless, you still thought you found a smoking gun about Allen and decided to vote against them vs cedar hill a team they have soundly beaten in previous years. Martin will also come out of the top 10 once the other teams (Houston area) listed get a few games underneath their belt.

Having said that I do believe that Aledo would be damn good in any league right now. Most don't realize the amount of athletes that school like Mansfield Legacy has - Aledo just pitched shut out against them. I see know end to quality athletes finding their way to Aledo ISD especially from the westside of fort Worth and surrounding area.

Texasball
You don't win Championships with just talent in Texas - Cedar Hill is still quality but when the talent level is more equal don't expect them to win as often as before.
