FootballGuy
I saw on the other board that Mercedes Benz Stadium wants $217,000 dollars from the GHSA in order to host championship weekend. If this is true, does GHSA have the finances to cover this cost? Should GHSA start looking at other venues? (Bobby Dodd Stadium, Georgia State Stadium, etc.)
Fred
I looked up the Dome pricing several years ago and the number quoted for Mercedes doesn't seem out of line with what the Dome used to charge. I can't find it right now but if I do I'll let you know for sure.

HawgGoneIt
Much nicer display than that of the Georgia Dome and I always thought that one was pretty cool. Can't help but notice the gray spots reserved for the state champions helmets. Good stuff.

Nolebull813
With all the Georgia teams that International School of Broward plays can they get a helmet up on the wall too?

Are they charging to park and do the teams get to keep that. How many teams does Georgia have do they do like Texas and split them up? Rufus69
Guys...Guys.... What's $217,000 to the GHSA? They'll have 8 Championship games during the weekend. They'll average 7500 people at each game. The ticket prices will be around $15.00 per fan. That's a minimum of $900,000 revenue (not counting all the merchandise and photo revenue). The GHSA takes its 40% cut. That leaves around $500,000 to pay all expenses (including a small travel stipend to the teams). Any money left over....just magically disappears. It's the new math.
