Bormio
I guess starting 2-3 was not considered acceptable. Losses to SP, Byrnes and Spartanburg (albeit by large margins). HC David Pierce had been with the program 30 years.

They will remain in their teaching positions. DC taking over as interim. Personally, I though the proper way to do this was let him finish out the year. Allow him to resign or terminate him the Monday after the last game. Then go after the best coach they could get. The pay is about $80k per year which is good money in the area. Bormio
Apparently it is about on the field performance. Almost unheard of in high school. I think goes back to losing to Gaffney in first playoff round last year after beating them 45-2 in the regular season. But their QB got hurt early in the game. Everyone knew NW would struggle early - lost a lot from last year's team.

If you cant win at these highly regarded schools you should be let go. Thats why im not a fan of having a coach be a teacher so that they are protected by the teachers union and cant be let go. The football coach should be the football coach and could be let go if not living up to standards

SECONDLY, FEW high profiled coaches in the state TEACH ANYTHING, other than maybe Driver's Ed, or weightlifting! Coach ProPst I believe, is Head of Football Operations, for grades 6-12!
