At least that's what I've been told by some of the same folks pumping MD this season. Seems to me they should have to own it now, but, too many of the ranking services are based over there, so they won't have to own it the same way an East Coast team would. Too bad. That record tells us that there are many teams around the country that would be successful with that schedule. The Once In A Generation Monarchs finally decided to step up, but it turns out they scheduled a bunch of scrubs outside of Bishop Gorman. Na playa. Wasn't even going anywhere near there with that. All the Mississippi big schools go through each other for their ship so they have a nice playoff system.

Unless you can name a team more deserving So FL.... get a big win in September and demand the MNC while I don't disagree with your assessment of the schedule to date, MD will have by much, much further superior SOS at the end of the day if one expects MD to go undefeated, there's no reason to consider another #1 Barring an upset, MD still has: -- top 5 SJB (regular season) -- winner of SJB and top 10 CC -- top 25 DLS (or someone that beats them) MC can't match that and the rest of MD's schedule (trinity league, SS D1 playoffs) are even more advantage MD. They could play 10 top 150 teams vs MC's #

Pops
Incorrect -- MD would still be ahead of DLS in your hypothetical and I think they're 5 TDs better than DLS much easier to make a stupid statement like that when there's no one left in front of you (after IMG)

If Miami Central is number 1 and then MD goes on a tear, and is beating top teams then you can have them jump into the number 1 spot. Thinking they are gonna win down the road is no reason to rank them 1. And 10 top 150 teams to 2??? if you think Chaminade, Miami Northwestern Carol City and Booker T would be the 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th best teams on MD's schedule your smoking crack! Cali ain't impressive man!! These teams would whoop the shit out of JSerra, SM, Servite and company. Those teams ain't nothing 1

Those teams ain't do nothing When it actually works like you suggest let me know until then, its hogwash 2010 -- South Panola was sitting at home, season over ranked #2 in the country, season over for 2 weeks, resting on the laurels of their tight win over Olive Branch #1 Trinity loses in TX; #3 DLS beat #5 Servite 48-8 (was 42-0 one play into 2nd half) Move SP to #1, move DLS to #2 thats the way it works FL makes a living off having some team get a nice August or September win and then going away and hiding in your own comfy playoff bracket that spreads FL's relevant teams among 6 classes and creates championship games between teams that are #1 in the country and outside the top 1,000 1
