HSFBfan
I guess losing to NIU at home was too much. he University of Nebraska announced athletic director Shawn Eichorst has been let go. The Chancellor, Ronnie Green, said the fans and student athletes deserve leadership that drives highest levels of competitiveness, as well as excellence across all facets of Husker athletics. TheMaximumHornetSting
Nebraska has been shooting themselves in the foot for awhile now...
HSFBfan
Nebraska needs to get back to competitive. College football was great when Nebraska Miami and such were top 10 teams

aZjimbo
I'm very surprised they hired Mike Riley from the start. 14-34 record in the pros. 93-80 total at OSU and now 16-13 at Nebraska and 9-8 in conference play. Seems like average numbers to me. Now Nebraska president says the firing of AD is not about Mike Riley. Read between the lines and guess who's next. People here in Omaha and Lincoln have been saying the same thing since NU hired Riley. Too nice and too average for a team that is used to contending every year. Pelini was not winning either and was embarrassing to boot. NU could not coexist with Texas in the Big 12 - if Texas ever wins another game it will be too soon. Move to the Big 10 cut Nebraska off from recruiting Texas. They have not really been competitive in years.
181pl
They'll probably hire Scott Frost away from UCF next. Have to payout UCF a pretty penny, but N.U. football is probably like 1/5 of the State's revenue (LOL). It needs to be healthy.

181pl
BTW, N.U. should have never joined the shi%%y big 10. The alienated their fan base and turned off recruits. Too much of a cold weather conference for most Fla, Tex., and Cali kids. Those are the kids that made Nebraska football in the 90's.

But yet michigan has 6/13 recruits in 2018 from below the mason dixon line
