TheRealCAJ
It would appear Louisiana will have one state champ to have fallen OOS (Evangel or Curtis)-unless Rummel shocks the world. Major losses: #1 TX Allen 28 Evangel Christian 7 #1 GA Grayson 22 John Curtis 9 Allen and Grayson could possibly win state championships. Major wins: Evangel Christian 14 #5 IL East St Louis 6 West Monroe 30 #6 OK BTW (Tulsa) 21 Louisiana has a realistic possibility of beating 2 state champs as East St Louis and BTW are both looking strong in their respective classes. Most disappointing OOS award: Parkway Panthers (I can't be too hard on them)-currently (1-3) and no factor in La. Surprise performance OOS award: 4A Lakeshore (Mandeville) 51 6A Hancock, MS 23. Hancock came in 4-0 (4 meaningless wins though) Almost performance OOS award: Grayson 22 John Curtis 9 (Curtis hung for 3.5 quarters with GA #1 and Top 5 nationally Grayson Rams) Best performance OOS award: Evangel Christian 14 East St Louis 6 (East St Louis is averaging 54 points vs their other 4 IL opponents ) All other OOS wins or losses for Louisiana deemed irrelevant. Sums it up for 2017 OOS Louisiana. NOW, it's regular season crunch time. Feel free to do your state.

Nolebull813
Florida has 1 guaranteed lock of beating a state champ with Bishop Gorman. Even if Liberty can shock the world and upset them AHP destroyed them. Lol. St John Bosco is a possibility but they have to go thru Mater Dei. They would have to beat Centennial and Mater Dei consecutively and DLS to win. Might be too much this year. Oscar Smith is always a player in Virginia and can win state after Vero Beach beat them. Chatfield from Colorado got whooped by Braden River and plays in a 4A when all the good Colorado teams play in 5A so they have a shot. Matters little to me. Xcellent 25 Writers' Poll 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) 4-0 2 IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) 2-0 3 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) 2-0 4 Grayson (Loganville, GA) 3-0 5 American Heritage (Plantation, FL) 2-
Nolebull813
Teams from Florida who lost oos who can (realistically) win state. Oxbridge lost a 1 point game to PA power Archbishop Wood. They are one of the better 3A teams and 3A is so bad of a class due to their being too many classes in FL. Melbourne Central wasn't ready for a real opponent in Buford. Got manhandled. They are in 3A as well with Oxbridge and Chaminade. Chaminade is figured to be the favorite and they got annihilated by the top ranked teams from 5A and 6A. Bartram Trail lost a close one after storming back from an ass drilling by Cartersville. They just lost this week to St Augustine and their offense was held in check. They are in 7A and even if they win the North I cant see them beating STA. Put them here cuz you never know Jones as expected got bombed by St Johns College. They weren't ready for prime time. They lost by 2 to Cocoa in the playoffs and is supposed to have a better team. If they can get by Cocoa all they would have to do is beat Bolles most likely. Champagnat lost to Trinity,KY but Trinity is 4 times the roster size. Champagnat just couldn't stop the receiver giving up almost 300 yards to him. They have the most talent by far in 2A and only University Christian who they lost to in the finals last year figured to be the only road block Deer Jerkey once again bit off more they can chew losing to St Joes Regional. 8A is always hard to predict and they made it to the semis last year. They have as good a chance as any. Dr Phillips whooped Mainland in impressive fashion so they would be their opponent in the finals most likely

Cocoa is 4a Jones and Bolles is 5a and bolles not winning 5a north, they just lost district to Jax Trinity Christian Also that lost to St Augustine proves even if they best team in school history they still not good enough to beat their cross county rival who probably falls in regionals just like bartram trail will

They were in 4A for the longest!!!! I didn't go back and research it that far. Ok then erase Jones because they got no shot of winning 5A. If SJB or MD go 5-0 in league they will more than likely get the #1 seed in the D1 bracket and Cen10 would likely get #2 (see: last year).

They've scheduled Trinity(KY), St X(OH), Meridian(MS), Prattville(AL), and Olive Branch(MS) over the years. Played Meridian, Prattville, and Olive Branch when they were actually good. 12-7 overall OOS (although, 0-4 against Trinity). That's in addition to playing MBA, Ensworth, and McCallie every year in district play.

They played some random Texas teams a few years back too. Might have scheduled a gimme game because the rest of the opponents were tough or had one week they couldn't fill with anyone of note. ISB seems to have all the best teams same weeks open. Lol.
