The CIF is considering limiting tackling to 90 minutes a week.

Football is undergoing a slow death. I totally understand the need to reduce head injuries and the proven link to CTE. You can see from watching the NFL that the overall quality of play has gone down because they don't practice 'real football' as much. Defenders are being flagged for clean hard football hits. If high school kids are limited to 90 minutes a week of tackling then they may as well just play two hand touch or flag.

CIF once again proving how dumb they really are.  Lets cut down the amount of time these kids need to learn how to hit properly and defend themselves.  Yeah that will help them be safer.

In the games I've seen, they don't appear to tackle in practice, at ALL!

You heard it heah FIRST! THOUSANDS of head and neck injuries, are looming on the horizon in Cali!

Yes it wouldn't surprise me if there were more injuries because the kids aren't going to be practicing proper tackling technique as much as they should. A lot of the head injuries are from poor technique.
