There have been a lot of confirmed and rumored exciting matchups made for this year so far:

May we start keeping track . . .

With the Trinity League teams once again taking the national championship; it is only fair to acknowledge them and list their schedule and games first:

The Bosco has chosen two defending state champions from 2022 as non-league opponents:

St. Thomas Aquinas - 4x Defending 7A State Champions.

Kahuku - 2x Defending Hawai’i Open Division Champions.

So, who are you guys excited to see?

I am most excited to see how SFA does against SJB on the road and MD at Home….

If SFA can somehow win those 2 games, The Natty will come down to the winner of SFA and IMG….

Lakeland has jumped back into the OOS world, hosting St. Joseph's from Philly. They have their QB back after he lit up STA last season. Also host Miami Norland, and probably one other big game not yet announced. I can't tell how good we will be this season, but probably will not be as good as 2022 or 2018. Assuming there is that drop-off, we're probably going to drop one or both of the biggest games.

SFA will have no presence five or ten years from now.  I think of DeMatha, Mater Dei, SJB, George Smith iat STA in FL, a legendary private school in New Orleans (for 40 years) and a half dozen enduring private schools that made a generation proud.  IMG, SFA and a number of others are not among them.

I am 76 years old:  I have posted on these boards regularly since the late ‘90’s.  From Faust’s Moeller to Kyle’s Iggy, McGregor’s DeMatha and out to Coach Lad there is a generational excellence-benchmark-to aspire too.

The Baltimore and Bradenton schools are not on that level.

Now Bradenton Manatee, in its day, that was another matter.  Or Mike Smith in Hampton, VA or several Texas coaches, too.
