Anyways, speaking of High School Football Districts...

Florida 3M District 11

STA (10-1)

Dillard (5-6)-they are NOT up and coming like you claimed.

Fort Lauderdale (2-7)

Boyd Anderson (1-9)

That is truly one of the worst Districts in the entire nation and I don't get it.

Explain that District to me, @Atticus Finch?

Not much to say here… other than I hope STA goes back to playing 2 OOS quality a year and boost their OOD and face AHP and Gibbons annually.   Also, don’t forget Miami Central.  Play them at Traz next.

I love that the poster he's quoting mentioned how none of the NOLA teams has an SOS above 35.3 and then his retort begins with a team with an SOS......above the 35.3 number.

Never change, RedZone.

I'll explain how districts work.

STA is in Fort Lauderdale.

Dillard is in Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale is, indeed, in Fort Lauderdale.

Boyd Anderson is in Lauderdale Lakes and pulls students from Fort Lauderdale.

These schools are in close proximity to each other and all have similar enrollment. So what happens is they place them into what's called a *district* where they play each other and the team with the best record is the winner.

That's real cute. 🕵️

You left off there's an oddball "private" high school mixed in with those high school football giants.

Is 35.3 the magic number in your head?.....

Why can't the magic number be 36.3, dammit!

😧😂

It's a fairly competitive district. It's a race to second-place where the question is, "who gets their head beaten in the worst by STA?" 🤧

Those public schools just don't have the money, facilities, organization, resources, and etc to compete with a maga private.

Why any state would do that is baffling.

Miami is only a 25 minute drive from Fort Lauderdale.

The NOLA Catholic League will be comprised of 6 Privates and 2 Charters (Edna Karr and Warren Easton)-Charters are basically free Privates. That's why they are considered a select school here and not public like a West Monroe or Ruston.

NOLA is just about entirely Private and Charter..... lots of schools here competing for the metro talent.

Orleans Parish is NOLA.

"The Los Angeles Unified School District and New York City Public Schools have the highest charter school enrollments within their geographic boundaries, while the Orleans Parish School Board (Louisiana) boasts by far the largest percentage of charter school enrollment nationwide, at 98.8%.Dec 6, 2022"

Maybe a little.

NOLA officially went all Charter in 2014.

It has it's pros and cons.

The public schools here really weren't all that great so it was inevitable change was coming.

New Orleans to be home to nation’s first all-charter school district
