US Economy Outpaces China for the First Time in 40 Years.

Payed $2.81 for regular gas the other day at a 100+ pump Bucc-ee's gas station off I-95 in Ormond Beach, Fl. Damn that Joe Biden sure is doing one heck of a job.*  :)

* Clarification: No way in hell Old Joe has much, if any, control on world oil prices, inflation, or the price of Turkeys at the neighborhood Walmart. But since he was blamed earlier in the year for soaring gas prices, he must have decided to lower them for the holiday season to spread cheer and joy to struggling Americans.  See: Economics 101, for the real truth.

Thank god the Republican lead House is a dysfunctional disaster. That way they can't "F" anything up... :)

I think that may be the point.  They are doing nothing on purpose.  It does 2 things, prevent government from working (as much as possible) which can then be blamed on Democrats and giving Trump a better chance.  Once that happens...game over.

Interestingly, this whole Israel/Palestine war plays into the above situation perfectly.  What are the chances the two are related?  How is this for a conspiracy?  'Trump had Top Secret docs, Putin met with Hamas/Hezbollah, couple days later Hamas finds a way around Israel security, which up until now has been pretty solid.  War ensues in the middle east where no one comes out looking like the good guys and Biden admin looks bad.  Trump squeaks by and regains the WH.'

Personally not a big conspiracy theorist for the left or right going all the way back to Dallas and the "grassy knoll, CIA, and the Warren Commission." To many greedy big mouths in DC to keep much of anything secret for long. As to Trump's chances of a Grover Cleveland retake with Joe staying healthy, they are slim to none. His Party's extreme abortion rights stance (6 weeks or a total ban) is going too do them in. Moderate Dems and Independents are scared of our wacko religious zealots and will vote in waves to end America's version of the Taliban.

Boy do you live in a fantasy world!

1. The abortion issue is no longer a federal issue. The US Supreme Court said so with their repeal of Roe vs Wade.

It's up to the states now. Trump is not running for a state office. If anybody mentions a nationwide ban this election, they'll be drummed out of the GOP.

2. It's the Dems who are extreme on this issue. They want abortion to be used like a birth control method, all the way up to the day of birth.

3. Trump said he does not agree with the call for a 15-week federal abortion ban from some members of the GOP. He also criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, for signing into law a measure banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

“I mean, (DeSantis) is willing to sign a five-week and six-week ban,” Trump said in the interview. “I think what he did is a terrible thing and a terrible mistake.”

... Trump said he supports exceptions to abortion bans for cases of rape, incest and when the mother’s life is at risk.

You are a liar. It’s the whole reason the debate intensified the last few years. Virginia and New York tried, and to a degree succeeded in passing legislation for abortion of fully formed babies after 24 weeks. There was democrats sponsoring bills for infanticide. That’s what sparked the outrage and energy to overturn Roe v Wade. Because conservative states were afraid infanticide was going to be the law of the land soon. Just what you are your people yearn the most for.

24 weeks = 6 months NOT 9 months
