Can’t afford it and figured out that if big brother FSU can’t compete for a title with an undefeated season they never will…

I think the committee is looking at FSU as damaged goods with Travis being out. they are not the same team or even close to it.

It would be like someone getting their doctorate degree and then getting in an accident where they suffered brain damage. You wouldn’t hire them as a doctor just because they got their degree. You WOULDNT hire them because of the new unfortunate circumstances.

I think Florida State has a legitimate gripe, but I also think the committee got it right.

You can only gripe about it so long though.

I said somebody was going to be very angry either way and I was right.

It was you! 😭

False equivalency.  Comparing an individual being hurt to a team with multiple players is not a comparison of equals.  There are multiple members of a team that could step up and make up the deficit of losing a team member, even an important one.  Note: this is a general statement about the equivalency.  I really don't follow FSU football enough to know if there are other players that could pick up the slack.  I think the playoff committee wants to put the best product on the field.  I personally think their thought process was and is flawed and lessens the playoffs instead of bettering them.

I went back and looked at the playoffs from beginning to current...

And Whatever the criteria the committee judges teams on is just like Alabama was this season... inconsistent...

I feel like the very unfortunate Jordan Travis injury was a very convenient scape goat that they used to avoid telling the SEC that "Hey you're not gonna have a team in this season"

Because ima be real This was the year where you had a chance to beat the bias allegations and they chose wrong...

And to the people that think Texas should have been Left out...

OU loss or not theres no way you see the Bama vs Texas H2H result and put Bama in over Texas...

That's the exact bias everyone is accusing you and the committee of...

The members of the committee change every two years. So it's completely different human beings.

With that said, the criteria has always been the same and is written down on paper. It wasn't bias that Alabama beat their #1 team and Florida State didn't beat anybody in the top 12. It wasn't bias that Alabama's SOS was #5 and Florida State's was #55.
