ORabidOne
it's corporate offices to Dekalb county, Georgia! Will you boys still do bidness with um? It's difficult to refuse an offer of 3 1/2 times the land mass that AMAZON was requesting! And the cost of living being lower than any other offer! Plus the mayor being willing to RENAME his town AMAZON, Ga., is a hard deal to turn down!

DiaTX
Not sure about Austin, but I would bet it will be in Texas especially with their Whole Foods HQ in TX.
AztecPadre
In its request for proposals, Amazon said it's looking for a metro area with at least 1 million residents, proximity to an international airport, mass transit, quality higher education, an educated workforce, a business-friendly environment and amenities that give it “the potential to attract and retain strong technical talent.” BYE BYE GA!!!! Versus TEJAS? Perhaps you've heard of two lil schools in the ATL metro, Southern Tech and GEORGIA TECH? Tejas is more concerned with building $70,000,000 high school stadiums, than education! I just heard on the news tonight, that Dekalb county has just submitted the SWEETEST deal in GEORGIA HISTORY, to land this contract!
