Probably going to hit that "sticky real feel" today of over 115°. .

Great thing about that is you can set your AC on 80 to 85° and be comfortable.

Might be a great day to just hang around the house and catch up on some politics.

Oh yeah, you know who is also scorching hot at the moment>>>> the next President of the United States Kamala Harris!

Last year the US set a record with more than 2300 people dying from extreme/excessive heat. That's a lot of people.

The United States set a record for heat-related deaths in 2023. As record-breaking heat waves continue, 2024 could be even worse.

According to an Associated Press (AP) data analysis from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the death certificates of more than 2,300 people in the U.S. last summer mention the effects of excessive heat, the highest number in 45 years of records. The AP notes record-breaking heat waves in May indicate that 2024 could be even deadlier.

Don't fret, that's only a few hours worth of heat resistant border crossers.  We can proudly drive the per capita heat related death rate down to a world class level.
