this year will be really interesting in NJ.  is Depaul for real, so far answer is hells yeah.  Is SJR for real...do not know but good signs so far.   Is Paramus Catholic back ?  who and what is Bosco?  SHP will have a tough year, graduated a lot.  Delby ?  maybe the same.  SPP ?  the son of hansen, that gift that keeps giving, we shall see and of course, BC on top of the hill for now.    Interesting this weekend is NJ vs NY Catholics all playing each other.  Should be interesting to see who wins this battle etc for bragging rights. 8 games in all, think NJ will go 5-3.    Any NY posters with some insight on any and teams below, please advise.  Get after it !!!!

BC vs Iona Prep -  BC big

Bosco vs St Anthonys - no idea

SJR vs Stepinac -   Hopefully SJR, have no feel for the team yet.

Delby vs Monsigner Farrel - Delby

Depaul vs Cardinal Hayes -  Depaul big

Pope John vs Kellenburg -  no clue

Seton Hall Prep vs Chaminade -  no clue

St Peters vs Moore Catholic - Moore Catholic by 40.  Hansen jr sucks

Bosco is a very young team this year, a lot of sophomores and juniors on the field on both sides of the ball.  They'll still get beat up by Bergen and probably Depaul, Joe's & PC a ?.  If they can find a qb next year they should be very good, but unfortunately BC also has a pretty young team this year and will probably still dominate.  Like what I've seen from DBP though, more team speed and especially at the receiver positions than I can ever remember them having.

Pretty describing SJR but w 2 Jr QBs, will be OL U in a very short time. More skills then bc an Bosco … so means nut all as in will. Now end of October .

PS - we could talk about La or even Tx football is those ass 🎩 hats would not agree to 2yr home and away contracts. When they decide to accept and honor the contract then will we see.  The big 3 will play anyone anywhere.

93-10 over last 2 games vs decent teams, 100-31 overall is a step in the right direction.

I’m willing to give you some rope Ironman but RBC & St.Anthonys are not decent teams. They are both in deep rebuild mode and had no right on the field against an All Boys school from the Super Conference Red division. They are wins I grant you and are good for team morale but not indicative of what lies ahead. Sabella is a good coach and has used these games to evaluate and expand the playbook for the gauntlet ahead.
