ND found out about this in 2014. Event happened in 2012. ND suspended these players in 2014 and retroactively removed the credits from their transcipts. Now because of the removed credits the NCAA now says those players were ineligible in 2012. ND followed their academic honor code and dealt with the players accordingly. And they gave all this info to the NCAA at the time. The NCAA agreed to all of this and now wants to exact a punitive measure on the school. Hopefully ND fights this ruling.
