The big bend area of Florida and Louisiana get 80% of the Hurricanes the last few years. Be safe South Georgia.

95% of Savannah-Chatham County (pop:390K+) is without power...

Major roads in Savannah are  inaccessible due to sea surged flooding,Downed trees and powerlines...

There's a ton of reports in Augusta,GA of homes being demolished by fallen trees... Augusta wasn't even in the original direct impact zone...

Valdosta-Lowndes County portion of I-75 has downed Livewires,Debris and Trees...

Large Flooding in parts of Atlanta...

Massive power outages in the Georgia Mountains...

Strong Flooding on the Chattahoochee River in Seminole County,GA

Some smaller coastal towns in FL are currently under water due to sea surge...

Is power back up?

My mom said her power came back on then went back out in under 2 minutes and she hasn't text me back yet...

So I'm assuming she's either with my aunt or she made her way down to Orlando...

Cell signal has been ass all over the state all day...

My internets up and running pretty good...

Heard from my folks in Savannah...

They had 8 active tornadoes on the ground last night...

Savannah,Camden County,Mcintosh county and Glynn County are dealing with sea surge flooding....

@JCGIII I heard Augusta caught it nasty too...

@Fred I gotta go up to Blairsville and Blue Ridge tomorrow... and I've been forewarned that the mountains are hazardous at the moment... Downed trees flooded mountain Creeks...

So I gotta take the long way around...

@HawgGoneIt @Ga96 @Fred @dntn31 @Cossacks looks like we got a Copycat Hurricane developing in the Gulf right behind Helene...

NHC is saying it could stabilize in under a week and take a similar path to Helene...

Man... this Hurricane season waited late to pop off and Outbreak season starts in October too....

My insurance rates are about to take a mysterious spike...

"Sorry but we can no longer keep you on the rate of $265.69  due to (Insert BS excuse) we will be increasing rates to $300.65"

My power is out. Cell service is in and out. We actually got lucky as the eye passed east of us. The worst of this one for me was after the eye passed us and we got the wind from the west. That was so fucking strong. 2:45 am.

Fared well. Lost a few shingles  On piece of tin on the barn and one on the shed. No power or internet or cell service. Got the generator fired off so we aren't totally Little House On The Prairie xD

The winds still strongish...

Not Hurricane force but still strong enough to make the trees dance a bit...
