Like I told my brother LATE last night (or early this morning)...you cannot play half a football game against those bastards and expect to win. We almost did...but we didn't. I've got no explanation for the 1st half of the game. I realize Bama was playing lights out...but it wasn't anything we hadn't seen before. We were out of sync...out of place...couldn't tackle and simply put...we looked worse than Ned and his first reader. My brother said it was poor coaching and we should fire EVERYBODY named Mike Bobo. Of course, he's been wanting to fire Mike since he was hired back. My response was...somewhere along the line...the players hafta take responsibility. It's not like Mike gained magical powers in the 2nd half. When we went ahead of Bama...I couldn't believe it. I waited for the other shoe to drop. And drop it did. Honestly, we had the coverage. The Saints lost to the Falcons today 26-24 on a 58 Yd FG with 2 seconds on the clock after a 30 yard pass interference call. The Falcons didn't score an offensive TD all day. Football is cruel!! I feel like it was a mistake losing Vandergriff and keeping Carson. My personal opinion. Alabama has Kirby and Bozos number. It is what it is Can't say it was Saban any longer. Georgia is lucky it's a 12 team playoff this year. And yes, I'm a UGA fan lifelong. Also a realist. What was it, 4 or 5 dropped passes that were very catchable? Those didn't help any. I actually don't think he was all that bad in the first half. The play calling changes in the second half, the defense finally showed up even if they weren't perfect, and players started playing more to their abilities. That defense against Milroe in the first half was always going to be a recipe for disaster. Just ridiculously stupid. That doesn’t happen often to Kirby on that side of the ball. Crazy finish. 0-3, 6-3, 6-7 and 8-7. LGM! Lindor is clutch again. Braves need game 2 for a wild card spot and my guess is they will get it. Mets will likely sub many starters and for sure won’t be using their best starter available or any relievers who pitched in game one. Time for a 🥃.
