Do we need to hang our DC in effigy?

He placed his stubby lil hand on the Bible after the Brookville debacle! And SWORE that THAT would NEVER happen again! Fast forward to the game with BLUE HELL last Friddie nite! Although he held the number one WR in the state to sixty yards and NO touchdowns! A NOBODY RB rushed for TWO HUNDRED YARDS! OFF with his head, OFF with his head I say! There's STILL TIME, because Lowends averages bout 500 yds. rushing a game!O.o

I AIN'T wasting no bullets on THESE chumps! Where is Jeremy Rowell and my man in Carrollton, when we need um? He'd probably be willing to come home, since he no doubt realizes that he's currently up against TWO OPEN ENROLLMENT schools, in Buford and Rome!

YOU'RE alone on a date!

I don't think so. I talk to a lot of people every day, and without me asking for opinions, often football related discussions break out, and other than you, and myself at times, among the fan base I have opportunity to speak with, no one is defending the OC and most are really down on him.

On the DC thing, me personally, I think we are a little soft in the middle of our defense under this new scheme as it pertains to the run. I think bringing JJ up to DE last week was also a mistake. He doesn't like playing there and it shows. Blame that on whoever you want... JJ or whoever made the decision to bring him to a position he doesn't want to play from.

I love the new defensive scheme until we match up against a great rb, then I don't think we are getting the job done. Average and ordinary backs... They won't run on us. Great backs, we are getting torn up. The DBs did a wonderful job last week actually, considering all the hype on Tift's senior WR's and QB etc.

I like our offense when we are up tempo. I hate our offense when we call a time out and come out of it to run up the gut, or when we go to protect the lead mode like last Friday. You are asking too damn much of the defense against a good team by letting off the gas and going to protect the lead mode in the 3rd friggen quarter with only a 15 point lead.

We've seen our D get gashed by good/great rb's twice in the middle this season. NEVER LET OFF THE GAS ON O AGAINST A GOOD/GREAT TEAM.

This supposedly great RB had 600 yds. in EIGHT games! When he left the Hog Pen, he had 800! And at Brookville, you coulda run for 260 yds, with THOSE holes!

By the BY, Brookville scored 30 points on Pukeview! Pukeview was BLOWN OUT by both Tift AND Lowndes!

Speaking of holes... With a three man front, the linebackers have to do what their name insinuates. Back the line. When these teams start running at you in the middle, the linebackers have to, have to, step up and fill the gaps. If their inclination on the snap is back peddle, the run will be there. Simple as that.
