I came here to mention that this loser killer went to Gilman.

But then I realized how stupid FreeBird is.

There has been a substantial amount of support for the murderer by lunatics on the far left. Just as there was an outpouring of support for the kidnapping, rapes and murders of music festival attendees in Israel on October 7, 2023. We also some express disappointment over the failed assassination attempt of Tr*mp. It's almost as if there is a sick, extremist element to the far left. Of course, such a comment results in being called names and smeared as a "tin foil hat conspiracy theorist".

Really? Because when I open social media, it seems like most of the holocaust deniers, antisemites, and people calling for the return of Hitler are on the right side of the aisle. Why is that? 🤷‍♂️

That's because antisemitism worldwide is from the right.

But a significant portion of antisemitism in the *United States* is from the left because being Anti-Israel is considered ipso facto being antisemitic.

It's an important distinction that loons like badrouter and others on this board are either incapable or unwilling to make.

There are very few honest/capable people around here.

Badrouter is outing himself as one of these braindead right-wing clowns who clearly just gets their news from YouTube clickbait.

Not a single intellecually honest, or curious, cell in that brain of his.

Conservatives Face Backlash From Followers Over UnitedHealthcare Murder

Conservative pundits are facing backlash from their own followers for accusing those on the left of celebrating the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Commentators like Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh are being told by their supporters that they've got it wrong when it comes to Thompson's murder.

Over the weekend, both Shapiro and Walsh harshly condemned liberals for cheering on the assassination in respective episodes of their eponymous podcasts, titled "The EVIL Revolutionary Left Cheers Murder!" and " Why The Left Is Really Celebrating The Murder Of A CEO."

But their followers disagreed with their criticisms and defended the left, arguing that they felt the same way about Thompson's death and bashing Shapiro and Walsh for being "out of touch" as wealthy media personalities.

More evidence that you're an extremist loon.

The support for this guy has been across the board.

The difference between me and you is that I condemn it regardless of who says it.

I condemn anyone that gets bonuses in the millions  for denying people live saving treatment,

So do I.

But I also happen to support healthcare reform and your political leaders don't.

15 years after the Affordable Care Act and Republicans still don't even have the semblance of a plan.

in last 15 years how many of those years were a democrat in office, y’all had ample time to fix this shit

As expected this response makes zero sense.

Obamacare was passed. And they've spent every year since then administrating it and encouraging people to sign-up.

~12 million more people have coverage because of it.

All you morons have done is whine about how terrible it is all while having zero plans on how to fix/replace it.

It's quite amazing to see it in practice.

So try to keep up with the irony in this thread.

Right-wing loon FreeBird is celebrating the murder of a healthcare executive because his company denied coverage to claimants.

The same right-wing loon is also whining that healthcare is broken and blames the Democrats for not "fixing" it.

He does this while the political party that he completely and totally shills for pushes to privatize all healthcare in America and repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Both sides have had ample time to fix this and neither side has addressed the main problem.  Ironically, the murder has finally amplified the real issue with healthcare and its not just the United Health Care CEO to blame.  He is a victim here.

The problem is not lack of affordable healthcare.  The ACA, while making it easier and more affordable to get coverage, offers crappy plans that reimburse hospitals at less than Medicare rates (which usually run in the neighborhood of 30 cents on the dollar).  The end result is that most medical systems are not in network with them, which is oxymoronic to having that coverage.

United Health Care, and the companies they own, among them Optum, are well known in the industry to almost automatically deny most claims, forcing healthcare organizations into costly appeals which usually end up with the organizations celebrating any payment they get.  I cannot tell you how many meetings I have been in on where the business office is bragging that they were able to get UHC to pay $50,000 on a legitimate $500,000 claim.  Instances like this are why you are seeing less and less stand alone hospitals and more mergers into large corporations (think Kaiser).

Health care reform does mean making health care more affordable.  But to do that, the payers need to be held accountable to deliver on their contracted terms.  This will help stop healthcare organizations, especially non profits, from raising their prices simply in order to meet their budgets.  And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

It's its not just UHC guilty of this.

This is patently false. I am not a member of any tribe, and thus have no qualms with condemning acts on any side. You, on the other hand, come across as a Democrat, who roots for his tribe to "win".
