When Marjorie Taylor Greene is a better human being you really have to look at yourself in the mirror.

@Bormio should be ashamed and embarrassed yet again!! Of course he's even more "small town" than Marjorie Taylor Greene.

I have a theory on this and so I was curious what was said when, say, George H. W. Bush passed away.

My theory was validated.

Nobody who could be perceived as "left of center" said anything negative. Not even a qualifier like "but bad President" or "I disagreed with him."

Nothing but positive thoughts for a great American.

In fact, the only people who said anything negative were right-wing loons and/or Republican types.

One called him a "dope" for merely raising taxes and the other mentioned that his grandfather may have had ties to the Nazis.

He was a decent man but an awful President is probably the view of the majority of Americans, especially those that lived through the Carter years.

When dumbasses like you make claims like this it's almost always because the economy was bad in (insert President's years).

There were oil crises in 1973 and 1979. One during a Republican Administration and one during a Democratic Administration. Both caused by events in the Middle East and/or OPEC countries that would've happened no matter who was President.

When Ronald Reagan ran for reelection in November 1984, interest rates were over 8%. Unemployment was over 7%.

The Bormio's of the day gleefully voted for his reelection in massive numbers.

A lot of it is dumb luck.

If Reagan had won the nomination in 1976, and then the Presidency, he'd likely be a footnote one-term President like Carter.

Hated on by droves of people.

Scott Jennings is just a bozo so it's apt that you would cite him.

This also serves as yet another example that it's simply impermissible to the right to be a public humanitarian. If you do so you will be labeled as anti-Semitic. Full stop.

I never had much doubt about this because I simply have eyes and ears. But it's good to see that it's out in the open. You don't even try to deny it.

Andy, your opinion of the man is worth exactly what we paid for it.

Jennings is running roughshod over the leftist crowd at CNN and his take on Carter as a president was spot on. Do you know why Carter is in the news right now? Because he was president. And a bad one thrown out of office in epic fashion.

Cry all you like.

Oh, I'm sorry.

Half the pictures are from 1973-74.

I was a junior in high school in 73 when the Arab oil embargo started & thankfully was driving a 71 MGBGT.The global cooling bs was also going strong & raised the price of oil...1977 on did suck a lot more.

Bormio is clearly a piece of shit human being.

Not much question about that.

In fact, you could argue that every person on the right who posts here wouldn't be able to refute that label.

@Bormio is just an old small town hick and not much else.....the bormios's make up small town America. We got them in Louisiana too.

When I go to Shreveport I see these old men sitting on their porches watching cars go by.
