Terrorist Attack On Bourbon Street.

I'm not real crazy about that decision to be honest with you.  👇

Plenty of other fun streets in the French Quarter. I get it's the world famous Bourbon Street, but the whole damn thing is creepy to me.

If I was a tourist Bourbon Street would be the last place I'd want to hang out tonight after the game...

If you just want to drink, listen to music, hang out and talk shit there's plenty of other streets/bars...... A lot them are even better than the Bourbon Street bars which are all just walk in-walk out type bars.

I don't know. It's creepy to me. I'm sure they got the blood and guts up best they could.

These people just have no conscience whatsoever...

....51% of this country talking about things they don't know the first damn thing about. Making complete fools out of themselves on social media and television.

donald will soon be in office and the border will be locked down, ISIS will be smashed yet again, there will be no violence whatsoever, BUT that's not good enough for these maggots...

I said in another thread here that 75% of this country could snap at any time and become a terrorist. That's my own number, I believe it could possibly be even higher.

This guy just snapped like anyone else could do at any time. I really don't give a s*** about an ISIS flag (that's just his b*******).  He could have been inspired by Winnie the Pooh. The guy was going to end it and cause others pain.

BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) — Shamsud-Din Jabbar grew up in Texas, joined the U.S. Army and eventually settled in Houston, where he spun up a real estate business and made $120,000 a year for one of the world’s largest consulting firms.

But the 42-year-old U.S. citizen, who authorities say plowed a rented truck through New Year’s revelers in New Orleans before being shot and killed by police, also faced pressures. He finalized a third divorce in 2022, saying in filings he couldn’t pay his mortgage and his business was losing money.

On Thursday, authorities and relatives were still piecing together why Jabbar barreled through a crowd in a Ford F-150 on Bourbon Street, killing 14 revelers and injuring at least 30 others. Officials said the attack was inspired by the Islamic State group, making it one of the deadliest IS-inspired assaults on U.S. soil in years.

I blame the way social media covers these events. Everyone wants to be famous. Well, when you pick the game, you pick the prize as well. You would think that life in prison or death would deter people from doing stuff like this; I guess some people just have nothing to lose.

Any who. Pretty good read here. It primarily discusses shootings, but you can really plug in any example of mass violence, and it works as well. My heart breaks for those hurt by this senseless tragedy. 💔

Interesting read. It's like every act of violence is the biggest story of the decade until it's not. There's always the next one and next and next. People will soon forget about this terrorist act. Bourbon Street will be packed people will be partying like there's no tomorrow. The "experts" will have moved on to something else. This nation is full of terrorist experts.

Anyways,

This guy obviously had some life issues though. He went from wearing $700 dollar suits to work to basically being in the poor house......those are the type guys that normally sign up for the ISIS club. I'm not an expert, but we probably need to watch these type folks.

True dat.

This country is like none other when it comes to experts. It doesn't matter what it is we got the "experts".

... 9 out of 10 times it's just the blind leading the blind.

People in this country would rather listen to and agree with an "expert" that agrees with their political and life views.

Actual "experts" are often pushed to the bottom of the pole.

Sad.... we used to think for ourselves in this country.

I think the nose ring, and maybe the part where she said this is not a terroristic event 🤷🏿‍♀️

Maybe she got confused. Maybe they told her that we're not yet sure whether it was a terrorist attack, and she heard, "It's not a terrorist attack."

It is a little worrying that her job is to communicate with the public, and rather than telling the public that we're still investigating the event, which is what you'd expect her to say, she went with "This is not a terrorist event," further undermining the public's trust in America's domestic security organizations.

You've been doing a lot of comparative studies?

I'll keep that in mind the next time the shooter turns out to be a white man who supports Trump.

It's my expert opinion that after every act of violence/terror in this country there's always one, two, maybe three people everybody goes after whether they are Republican or Democrat. It's standard practice and the way things are done in this country.

You are just one of the crowd, Bob. Yawn!

You haven't made one single post about the terrorist yet and probably won't, it's cool

As for Anne Kirkpatrick..

This is certainly something she wasn't prepared for, but then again who would be prepared. That's why they call it terror.

I heard her say this is not only an act of terrorism, but it is pure evil. But then I've probably watched more Anne Kirkpatrick footage than you people

She did not declare war on ISIS like the maggots wanted though. She did not run with a lot of political b*******. and pedal bogus information and conspiracy theories after 30 minutes of investigation.

Sue her!
