I didn’t say that he was a Catholic, I said that his policies had more in common with the Catholic Church than those of his rivals.

You said that a Presbyterian was "literally" more Catholic than an actual practicing Catholic.

So you're going to shift the blame from you not knowing what Catholic means to you not knowing what literally means.

I think that's the sentiment shared by people who voted Republican in this recent election.

that's true...but sentiment doesn't equal reality.....most of them still "know" the 2020 election was rigged....that sentiment is 100% bullshit.

A chef's kiss of jumping-the-gun stupidity. A real staple around here among the right-wing loon community.

This assclown responds to Crusader12-0's lying with this:

Of course you did. But he can't help himself.

Only to go back and amend what he said after, you know, *actually* reading the thread:

I think the truth is more nuanced. But for anyone who isn't already an expert on this topic and would like to know more, you can consult the USCCB's guidelines for faithful citizenship.

It's a kind of initiation around here.

You're not truly inducted into right-wing nuttery until you shoot wildly in the air without knowing what you're talking about.

I'm not convinced you even know what the topic is at this point.....

He didn't read a single word of this thread until after he made up his mind and posted a bunch of mindless shit.

The level of brain melt that's occurred to people like Belly Bob over the last 5 years is quite amazing. It will be studied one day.

Bob is definitely a unique individual...... nothing fruitful ever comes from his melon.

Meanwhile:

If we have to bring in "expert/s" from other cities >> some people definitely need to be fired here.

Doesn't matter really how good or bad these experts from the other cities are it's just the principle of the freaking matter..

If we need that kind of help something ain't happening. Maybe somebody will get fired. City council's pretty fired up, but I'm not really going to go into all that.

I agree about the 2020 election, which is one of the reasons why I don’t care for Trump.

But my point is that the Democrats lie too, and they lost the election, at least in part, because of it.

Or did the Party not know about Biden’s cognitive decline?

You have to distinguish interpreting a claim from evaluating it for truth. Unlike you, I interpreted @Crusader12-0's claim correctly. If you're still confused about that, see below.

I didn't evaluate his claim for truth, though I did suggest that Catholic Social Teaching doesn't align neatly with the policies of either party.

Welcome to the "lazy dumb fuck who doesn't read anything" caucus.

You've got to read the entire post to determine the meaning of it. It's a fundamental principle of textual analysis. If you read the second sentence, in boldface below, I think you'll be able to figure out the meaning of the first sentence.

Because he literally is. GOP policy has much more in common with Catholicism than then the Democrats ever will. Leftwing policies by design are hostile to organized religion.

Keep at it. You'll get the hang of it.

Crusader12-0 is a moron who said that Trump was literally more Catholic than an actual Catholic. Anything he says after that is just claptrap and the opinion of said moron.

The fact that he didn't articulate himself properly is basically the entire point. Yeah, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I know that you are now throwing your lot in with this group of people but at least pretend that you have a single fiber of good faith left in you.
