Thanks for the highlights! Much appreciated.  Puts a face to the epic game I listened to for three plus hours last night

No problem..it was the best high school game this year that I attended thus far.  Lowndes is definitely be a great force in the playoffs as well as Colquitt too!!

I'll tell ya, it's difficult to pin down any one thing that was a difference in the game because there were so many things that were good and obviously a few bad.

Colquitt's missed field goal eventually loomed very large. Not picking on the kicker though, because he's been good all year and his punting on Friday was spectacular after a bad night against Tift. Those three points could have been a difference maker for sure especially after Lowndes kicker missed that P.A.T.

However, it did just feel like one of those nights, where if the field goal would have been made, that Lowndes would have found a way to tie it up anyway.

That was big boy football on Friday night, and everyone present knew it. Even people outside of the stadium like the deputy that was directing traffic at the north end of the field just stopped worrying about traffic and talked to me about it for about 5 minutes as I was trying to walk by. Good stuff. Unreal game. My voice is finally coming back this morning too.

I have a question for you because I know you have seen Colquitt a coupla times now and Brookwood too. Do you think it appeared that Colquitt has worked on and fixed the issue that let Brookwood jump up on them? If they were to play again today, how do you think it would go?

Good observations..it was definitely big boy football being played that night!!  Two dominate teams!!!

Good question...I am seeing better D and O line play by Colquitt now. I think that a rematch would be closer but I could not count Colquitt Co out from winning because they have improved since the last game.

Krajewski was throwing the ball really well in the 1st half. And then in the 2nd you didnt really see any plays downfield like in the 1st half. The OC got scared, and thats not the way to play.

I think if Grage and Calhoun were still there, this Colquitt offense would be really, really good with Krajewski under center. The WRs can catch & appear fairly elusive. The 2 RBs definitely have some moves. And Krajewski can sling it.

Lowndes didnt throw downfield much, but they dont need to. They hook up on as many big plays as anyone with their offense.

I’m sure it was a great game played by two good teams.  But 96 points? OMG that’s very California like.  Should that have been the score between MD/SJB, SJB/Cen10.... (insert your least favorite CA teams), we would hear nothing but the usual diatribe lambasting soft defensive effort, inept coverage,...

Good to see you celebrating dominant O😜

Went to 2 OTs

Did you watch the highlights? More hard hitting defensive plays in this game than you'll see in a full season of CA games.

All one must do is turn on YouTube, or the TV... or just go to an actual game... to see where the defense is being played.

Leggett and Edwards have both been offered by the SEC! And Edwards had a UGA offer his FRESHMAN season!
