STA is about as good as St John Bosco is.....only a smidge better 😉
Nolebull813
So if St John Bosco is number 3 in Cali, and is worse than STA who is worse than Centennial who is worse than Liberty then Liberty,AZ is number 1 in the country!!!! 2

Maybe STA, SJB and Centennial are good but not top 25 good this year. The former two teams are just ranked high because of their legacies.

Omaha Vol
Way to daisy chain, guys. I'm glad daisy chaining isn't the main factor in deciding an overall ranking. I love the fact that most of the best teams nationally are playing other top teams. These tougher schedules will create some loses, that otherwise, would not be expected. Teams will have off nights and will lose to teams they would normally beat. It sure makes ranking teams in a national poll very interesting, but that's the fun part.

If someone wants to accuse SJB of legacy ranking but doesn’t consider the same for “his team”, especially considering SJB’s schedule, I think it’s a fair point to bring up. I’ll go one step further. My team (Cen10) is top 10 in some polls, but I’m not buying it. If they beat SJB in playoffs and push MD to the limit, or win, then maybe I would. aZjimbo
Centennial enters the 5A playoffs as the #2 seed and Liberty the #3 seed. #2 Centennial vs #15 Sunnyslope. #3 Liberty vs #14 Campo Verde.

Gorman is firmly entrenched in the top 10 this year. They earn their ranking every year. http://www.maxpreps.com/m/article.aspx?articleid=2adafdaa-46c5-4a89-9450-4eea179f007c And Gorman's OOS schedule this year is better than any regular season schedule than the Centennial pups have ever set up. BTW when are you guys coming to Vegas?

My position is that teams such as STA have built up such high expectations because usually they are the top dog in FL. And Florida is a one of the top three states in HSFB. So we project them to be one of the better teams this year because of their previous success. STA struggled with SJB when Re al was their QB. The Raiders also lost to Centennial (AZ) in a real ugly game. Their offense is just not clicking. I just don't believe that STA is that good this year. BTW when are you guys coming to Vegas? Seriously, what is your point? Just be honest and say you are upset that SJB is positioned in front of BG. Both teams have 2 losses and still crack the top 10. There are a lot of teams with fewer losses that would like a shot at either to prove they deserve a better ranking. Plus, I have never inferred that Cen10 has put together a schedule tougher than BG. They have no money, and can’t travel, but don’t shy away from competition. They played BG in 2014 and lost in the last minute by a point. I’m sure in the MNC argument for that year you considered that as an arrow in the BG quiver.😜. Plus they have played IMG twice. Not too many teams with huevos that big.

I would like nothing more than for Cen10 to get another shot at DLS. But, even if they did and won, I wouldn’t consider it any more than CIF state title since we had our shot and missed again vs IMG. If Cen10 gets to, but loses to Mater Dei I’ll tip my hat to them. If MD or any other team wins state, I won’t make some sour grapes whine and look to placate my disappointment by discrediting them. Even if MD gets through unscathed, LVJC will point to the next best undefeated team and declare them MNC. He’s got some sort of CA bias having taken shots at MD, SJB, DLS. You don’t have to look hard for his unprovoked shots at CA teams. Nobody likes to lose, he just takes it harder than most.

I never said you, in particular, were daisy chaining. A lot of people on here do that and think that those results are the tell all. They are incorrect. Your team, Cen10, is deserving of top billing. As a matter of fact, they are top 5 nationally. Along with SJB.
