THAT looks similar to Columbus, Ga. Memorial Stadium, where the Georgia-Auburn game was played back in the day! Valdosta also played Brockton, Mass. back in the day, in what they called the Peanut Bowl!

If you must rant and rave, at least get your facts straight. You’ve been told before. Valdosta did not play Brockton in the Peanut Bowl. If they had, back then, they’d still be looking for their teeth. They played West Springfield, in 1953, and barely beat them, 28-26. West Side had the ball, and was driving, on the Valdosta 30 when time ran out. And West Side was not the premier team in Mass that year. There were five Peanut Bowl games, and Mass won three if them. The two they lost were by a total of seven points. This, basically, was the start of Georgia’s fear of quality out-of-state games Cue the blizzard of CAPS, !!!!!!!, mispellings, and obscenities in 1, 2, 3 ...

HawgGoneIt
I went with Warren Easton. I hope that wasn't a mistake. I think the last time I went with em they failed me. Seems like an entire season has passed since then though, so maybe they've matured and cut out the mistakes that they had in that game. Edna Karr has had Easton's number though, but Karr is not nearly as strong as last year. If Warren Easton doesn't beat Karr this year going be a real tough pill to swallow for the Easton's and Sandra Bullock may have to find another school to adopt. Sandra, loves her some Warren Easton!
