Bamarod
Big upset in Brevard. Rockledge wins in overtime with Ladarius Tennison score. FSU commit Jashaun Corbin scored in regulation to tie game and Rockledge outplayed Cocoa in BBQ Bowl.
Bamarod
For those critical of Viera 13-6 win against Rockledge early season, in your face. Rockledge has enough Div. 1 talent to win state in 5A. For all who held close win by Viera against them, check yourselves....

I coached with and against all these kids. Rockledge has as much skill position talent as both Cocoa and Viera. Coaching decisions was only difference between Rockledge and Viera, Cocoa. Putting ball in hands of FSU commit Corbin at QB every play was difference tonight. He guided Rockledge to victory and truth be told Viera is the better team of the three. Along with MCC these 3 teams will represent Brevard big time in playoffs.
Cat_Scratch
Now tell the truth, how many flags did the Rockledge sideline ref throw on Cocoa. Be honest. Do you really think Cocoa committed all 18 of those flags that ONE Ref threw on Cocoa? Now, how many did the same Ref throw on Rockledge? It was a very defensive game. Standing room only with 300 or more people waiting in line when the game started. Parking lot was packed to over flowing with cars parked along the 4 lane road going to the stadium for half a mile. I can't remember it ever being this packed. Now that Rockledge has bragging rights, how long can they carry the torch? Can they bring home a gold in the playoffs. This game should be a real confidence booster for them. Corbin, a transfer from Holy Trinity, was a real stand out. Both Corbin and Hawkins were the backbone of the teams. Hawkins was hurt in the 4th quarter and didn't carry the ball even though he came back in for OT. Shame he had a 75 yard TD called back for a questionable hold call by ONE Ref. It should have never gone to OT. Rockledge missed a 20 yard FG with 3 seconds left in regulation tied 7 - 7. Also Cocoa fumbled (?) the ball inches from the goal line but the Same Ref said he wasn't down even though it clearly looked like the runners knee was down before the ball came out. The call was a Touch Back and Rockledge took over on the 20. As we all know... them the breaks and shit happens. Rockledge stayed in the game and found themselves the winner in 2XOT. Who would have thunk...

Who would have thunk... Was at Viera game, Sorry I missed this one. Cocoa benefited from a 99 yd fumble return correct? Not surprised there was some home-cooking for Rockledge with Refs. Usually don't try to hide it much either. Worse in basketball games there. Sorry to here Hawkins was injured. Hope he is ok for play-offs. Sounds like Viera, Cocoa, and Rockledge are very even this year and hope we can all bring home state!

I have doubts they had no fear in traveling to Nevada to face the best team in the country but were too scared to go to GA to play Colquitt and when did this game get cancelled anyway?
