Bormio
Yup. Guess Bama did not think much of getting dropped to #2.

nptb17
Real talk. LSU has dominated the line play this game.
TheRealCAJ
LSU is playing ok. Can't be mad at them. Offense looks decent vs Bama. Better than the last 3 years, at least. INT really hurt though. Terrible throw. Just need to hang around and grit it out.
nptb17
Bama has had to bring extra dudes to get to the qb and LSU has done a great job of picking them up for the most part. Qb obviously didn't expect the protection he's getting because he missed two open plays going for the quick deep ball off the play action. Bormio
Bama does not have the pass rush it had last year. But if LSU cannot run the ball some, it won’t matter. Nothing on their offense is consistent enough to hurt Bama.

Bormio
Bama can lose - but not to LSU. Nothing about LSU’s offense scares Bama. Georgia is a bit similar, but they have more weapons and a better QB. The QB does not have to be great to beat Bama, but he has to be good. Also needs to be error-free. TheRealCAJ
Alabama just had the better QB. He made the plays when they needed them. About all you can say about it. We matched up well.
Bormio
Don’t discount Auburn vs Bama - or vs Georgia. The QB for them is coming along and outside of a bad second half at LSU - they have been pretty good.
TheRealCAJ
LSU held Alabama to 116 yds rushing. No one else will do that this year. Defense played well. LSU actually won the stats, but then that doesn't mean doo-doo. LSU/Bama stats. Downs 16 14 3rd down efficiency 9-19 5-14 4th down efficiency 0-1 0-0 Total Yards 306 299 Passing 155 183 Comp-Att 15-31 11-24 Yards per pass 5.0 7.6 Interceptions thrown 1 0 Rushing 151 116 Rushing Attempts 42 36 Yards per rush 3.

Bormio
Question - if 2 loss Auburn beats Georgia, Bama and Georgia again - are they in the final 4. I say probably yes. Although you could having Clemson, ND, OU and Wisconsin all there too.

Adam Kurkjian
Take away the sacks and LSU rushed for 185 yards on 35 carries. OL will probably bring back all five of those starters. Losing Guice and Williams will hurt but what you saw tonight was a running game not handcuffed by facing 8- and 9-man fronts that knew exactly what was coming every snap. All LSU needs to do now is find more competent QB play and they're almost there. I would not have said that a month ago, but LSU probably goes 10-3/9-4 at worst. Thought they were maybe 6-6 after the Troy game.

TheMaximumHornetSting
Alabama these past few weeks have looked mortal... they're going down when they dont need it to happen... Another kick 6 maybe...? Gonna go with a long shot... Trap game next week... @ a surprisingly good Mississippi State team....
TheMaximumHornetSting
Again its a stretch... But MSU can pass the ball pretty good... but the real problem is how will thry fare against Bama's defense...
