CC starts off with Serra and then could finish vs #14, #3, #1, and #17 teams in the country

Would be a historical run if the Huskies could pull it off

I could see the first three legs as possible.  Against MD though, it will come down to stops and I see them stopping Cen10 more than the other way around.   I'm hoping for a miracle of sorts, but MD has a proud history and at some point they are going to win the south and probably the state.  Cen10 and SJB can't deny them the south forever.

To offer another perspective, when at the MD vs BC game I sat on the visitors side next to some BC fans.  A couple were connected with members of the BC coaching staff.  First, they were awestruck by the size of MD (without pads).  They had never seen a team that large.  Once the game got going, they couldn't believe how futile their team's effort was on both sides of the ball.   With around 3 min to go in first half and MD up 34-7, MD had 4th and a foot at mid field and would likely easily have made the first down, but punted.  One of the coaches wives turned to me and said, "they're just playing with us now, aren't they?".    Mater Dei held on that next series, there was a punt, and MD scored easily but it was clear they were playing at a more relaxed pace.  At halftime I heard a lot of superlatives with respect to MD from BC fans.  They assured me their team was not really as bad as they looked.  I told them only that MD was capable of making a lot of teams feel that way.   This from fans of  9-2 team that plays in a competitive league that over the years has seen some pretty good teams.  They weren't bitching, complaining, or making excuses. They just couldn't believe what they were seeing.

Some people gonna read this and probably throw darts, but I've been to a lot of non-Cen10 games and really haven't seen that significant a reaction so whatever.

Yep

i think CC may be a bit better than DLS this year but we’re probably both being realistic about a morale victory being most attainable positive result vs that team

Excellent take.

The Stache truly has a Once in a Generation team.

Lol at #3, #14, and #17.

Unfuckingbelievable that you would quote these rankings.

why should I abstain from referencing the most widely used rating system in hsfb?

better, why didn’t you throw your tantrum when GHSA opened a thread announcing Lowndes entry into the top 25 or when echs called or when echs claimed that #1987 Tift ‘15 was a top 100 team (trying to prop up CQ’s SOS)

1. I don't agree with Lowndes being Top 25 (although they should be in the conversation, they need to notch a few more wins). Unlike you I am able to acknowledge that, and you certainly don't see me prancing around touting that ranking.

2. I don't remember ECHS saying Tift County is a Top 100 team. That is a figment of your imagination and you've brought it up too many times to count for two years now.

3. If you want to quote Calpreps, please start inserting a disclaimer that the rankings of the aforementioned teams are more than likely inflated and not a true representation of those teams.

Hope this helps!

1.  Whether you agree with it or not, I don’t remember you saying it was unfuckingbelievable that some guy FROM GEORGIA would start an OP to specifically promote a CP ranking — doesn’t seem very fair and balanced to me (an effort in being perceived as objective would be a serious waste of your time)

2.  First you say you don’t remember then you say it’s not true — typical illogic

3.  Which rankings are you referring to as unworthy and I’ll agree or disagree — DLS at #17 was one mock and I’ll take you up on that one (ill have every other pollster on my side)

Those look more like state rankings.

I can see CC, MD, and SJB in the national top 30 but not more than that.

California isn't God's gift to football. They have racked up countless losses in oos play.

No one is saying the state isn't good, but these rankings who have 20 Cali teams in the top 100 and 7 top 25 teams is absurd.

Everyone outside the top 3 teams in Cali would get drilled by real top 25 teams

1. I'm not here to be fair and balanced. Kind of like Calpreps.

2. I do remember ECHS saying something stupid about Tift, but I'm certain he didn't say Top 100.

3. They are all bogus rankings. Instead of using other services (because they feed off one another) to back up your position; provide us with your argument to support the rankings.

MV isnt a top 25 team IMO...

OLU and Bishop Amat arent top 200..

LBP isnt top 100

Cen10 isnt top 5...

What are your top 25? (After you post them we can poke holes in your rankinns, discuss how you are biased and every GA team is 12 spots too high) 😂

Im not making an argument for anyone from GA so you can put that gun down...

My argument is one

Cen10 has no impressive wins...

You can say the same for Lowndes...

OLU is not deserving of a top 200 ranking.... their best win is a 48-21 win over 6-4 Norco...

Bishop Amat hasnt done squat...

LBP did bad against good teams and average against Bad teams...

MV's best showing is against another overrated San Clemente... and an escape win against LBP...

1.  You seemed to be bragging about it in prior post imho

2.  Your recall is more bankable than your certainty — he said top 100.  I remember all the stupid things people say like T-ball saying there are 40-50 DLS’s in TX

3.  My point was CC’s playoff run.  Personally, I️ think it’s more succinct and impactful to write it as I wrote it.  Your suggestion is a bird walk into the irrelevant.  If I was making a point about the rankings of those teams I would have elaborated.  They’re not so far off from their “true” rankings as to be worthy of the digression which would have only diluted point imho

His numbers may be off but it’s been this way since 2014 when CIF movesd Cen10 into the PAC 5 (at the time) bracket.  Bottom half of bracket this year is tougher than the top.

Cen10, OLU, Bishop Amat, MV, San Clemente and Ploy would all be the favorite to win D2 if they swapped rolls with Upland. Upland wouldn't get out of round 2 in D1 but may win a State bowl in D2. the only "bad team" in the D1 playoffs is Vista Murrieta and they will be out rather quickly.

Forgive me if I dont believe that BA and LBP would win D2....

Im going to assume those rankings are from CaliforniaPreps ranking Southern California. Making it pretty obviously bogus.

Colquitt could very well end up playing @ #48, @ #42, @ #63, and vs. #16 in the State Title game. And considering those teams are from GA and being ranked by CalPreps, thats impressive.
