Just got back from this game. Choke job by Ed's. Awful play-calling on offense, and the worst performance by the receiving corp I have seen from them all year. Dropped TD. Offensive PI call on a big deep ball. TD called back after an illegal procedure flag that seemed to come late after the play. They had no business losing this game. Ignatius should wax Mentor.

The offensive interference was bull

the ruled incomplete pass was bull

the announcers said both were

they were missing 2 O lineman and Celenti on D line along with Staples , wr and no Kincaid

even with all that no excuses for the drops

they should have won by 2 TD s

I didn't realize Cilenti was out too. No wonder they were so porous up the middle. Freeman probably had no business being out there with his ankle. Credit him for toughing it out, but you'd of thought his hands were broken with those easy passes he was dropping.

Yeah 3 Soph started.

With Cilenti out Fattah looked mortal. His number was hardly called.

They should have played Wainright in Freeman's place

the TD called back was a very late penalty

i did not care for the officiating. There was O holding on Mentor the whole game but not one call

even with all of that they should have won if they catch the ball

best team does not always win and several injuries make you look average

True, Ed's just hasn't been the same since the injuries

Yes, you hold Mentor to 21 points and 90 yards through the air and you should win going away. The 200 plus on the ground was inexcusable, but still enough to overcome.  The zebras negated a lot of big plays for Ed's. I was looking for laundry after every first down and surprised when it wasn't thrown.

Hopefully the young bucks took something away from the experience. Wainwright should definitely have been out there. Looking forward to seeing him alongside Kent next year. Many thought Ed's was a year away anyway.  Hopefully there is some good line talent waiting in the wings so we can really see all these skill guys at their finest. Ignatius seems to be killing them in that department lately.
