181pl
Ravens, although a very lame name, is at least unique. And when you add in the EAP factor, it was a no brainer.

Yeah, worst name ever. I know they are named after Paul Brown, but what was the excuse for the St. Louis Browns? The Brown Stockings? What, were you working in a sh$t house all day and your socks were brown. What is this supposed to symbolize?

What is this supposed to symbolize? And Paul Brown was opposed to naming the team after him. Prior to the Browns, Cleveland's professional football teams were the Tigers (1920), Bulldogs (1924), Panthers (1926), and the Rams (1936; eventually relocated to LA). The Tigers and Bulldogs were tributes to the Massillon Tigers and Canton Bulldogs respectively. The color scheme for most of these teams was red and white or red and black. As a Browns fan, I have no problem changing the name and color scheme. Many loyalists will just not let go of the Browns name and putrid colors. I'd like to see a return to the Bulldogs, which would fit with the "Dawg" moniker that the team adopted back when the Dawg Pound was the Dawg Pound. Go with the traditional red and white or black and white color scheme to keep it basic.

If fans were to stop attending, then change may manifest,if not, Browns keep losing... Attendance is down, but still operating at just below 90% capacity around kickoff. By halftime the stands are about half full. Personally, I have sworn off going to games. Turn down free tickets all the time. I don't think the ownership is intentionally trying not to improve, I just think they're idiots. 1

You could have Brown as an accent color like the Bucs do with the orange (although we currently have the most putrid, horrible uniforms in all of sports. Love the helmet, hate the unis). I get it won't go back to that restaurant again. 😩 Do you know the difference between the west side? East side? South side? And the North side, the great natural resource we call our Great Lakes? Thought so. How many arrests were there when the Cavs won the NBA and had 1.2 million in the parade along with the RNC amongst all the protestors? yeah the Cleveland police chief was the most sought after chief not only in the country but around the world. after the RNC tourism was up 71% go figure yeah Cleveland sucks in your mind but the cost of living is low, traffic is light and the culture is vibrant and fluid. People are in a 2-3 year waiting list to move downtown. the Browns do suck with a horrible ownership and it snows 3 months a year which is better than the humidity for 3 months elsewhere i can live anywhere in the country but prefer here and visit the other locations. 😀 Cleveland is only miserable to those that had a bad experience or the misinformed
