Calpreps has 8 non ranked (NR) in the comp 25 this week.  Prep Nation has 2 NR's while HSFBA has it's first NR at #21 (3 NR's overall).   MaxPreps first NR is at #18 with 3 overall NR's.  USA Yesterday 5 NR's.

Tell me which of CP’s NRs you disagree with

BG is only one that stands out for me and we know that’s because they play such horrid SOS in NV

Trinity 26th so just missed and SJC seems a bit low too me but i would say mostly your list is are teams that probably ought be questioned more in national top 25s

Interesting pov considering the comp poll seems like the logical choice as the top poll going (haven't you mentioned that before?) and 80% of the votes come from non CP rankings.   So is the comp poll a weak poll or is it strong because CP is included at all?  

What I see is ratings in turmoil.  What exactly has East done to reach #20?   Their 2 marquee games vs top 25 competition didn't inspire top 25 might.   RC and Upland would be in your top 25 this week right?   I suppose Folsom should be the Open pic, higher rating than DLS currently .   

This week's list looks like a cry for help...  Pickerington North #14?   St. Louis #4,  for beating Punahou 2x and Kamehameha 3x?  Ah, the 6 pt win over Narbonne must explain some wicked Dexter's Lab move by Freeman.    

This is a week where the rating system burps/hiccups/farts as the playoff boost and various positions of state playoff rounds leaves us with some odd ratings imho.   

As for the NR's, imo South Pointe hasn't earned a 25 spot (and I'm open with my hatred of ranking SC and NC teams) so I agree here with CP.  Trinity KY and SJP imo belong.   BG belongs and if they don't DLS sure doesn't belong.  Brentwood Academy and Union I agree not to rank and  SJC I had in and out and now in.   Beating Dematha by 3 isn't a wow but it's a win.   I think they belong, but can see why of course they aren't with a rating system.  Archer imo belongs.  I think I covered the NR's.

Nevada football is not as bad as you always portray it to be. Northern Nevada’s current #3 team destroyed the NCS #4 team. Reed (NV) was leading CVC (CA) 38-8 well into the 4th qtr. The Raiders were 5 points away from the mercy rule before they put it on cruise control. CVC is one of the final 4 teams in the NCS open playoff bracket. Reed also lost to Oak Ridge the #2 team in the SJS by 3. 

The current #1 team in Northern Nevada Reno HS shut out Reed  39-0. 

Also we only have 36 teams that play 4A football in all of NV compared to the hundreds which play D1 just in NorCal.

I’m in agreement with all of your reasoned assessments

also agree the comp poll is best poll, but the other 80% is also all human so don’t necessarily think CP having a different take ipso facto means they’re wrong

CP generally will point out which humans teams high placement ought to be questioned

Besides, only one of the Comp top 25 isn’t in CP’s top 100 and that’s Tulsa union at like #125 — that’s 100% within the same percentile.  Maybe it’s right in some and misses on the others (and like I said, i agree with your assessment completely), but for an algorithm that can’t read the other human polls for conformity, on most of our discussions/ debates, seeing which percentile a team’s opponents fall in is extremely telling since none of us can possibly be knowledgeable about every team.

That broke a winning streak of NCS D2 CVC pummeling NV teams including your state championship opponents 

at least CVC didn’t snub them in the pregame handshake

I watched a TV report from KTVU about the second sexual assault. In that video report the news crew visited the Dless high school campus. In one of the shots you can see a Dless student flipping off the cameraman wildly with both hands. 

Yeah you have some real winners on that campus. I will post the link if you ask.

Youve been leveraging the charges against a 16-year old kid to death, and have started and over-bumped multiple threads on the topic

Dont suddenly get indignant or judgmental about someone mentioning the similar charges that were recently leveled against your HC

what gets your goat and the reason you’re leveraging the news around one kid is that Sanchez’s charges are so aligned with the character that he’s demonstarated since nepotistically inheriting the rogue program and making it even worse
