If he or she can afford it. Foreign students have typically paid the full cost of their USA education. For many state schools this has been a boon in the face of shrinking state funding.

That's why colleges are pissed off  about it. They want the full funding from.the foreigners. College is gonna go off the way side soon and hopefully more technical schools come up

College is already off the wayside.

Most degrees aren't worth the money invested to earn them. I watched a report following a couple of college professors that actually teach kids in college are living in their cars. Homeless. They have degrees though. Might still be paying the loans they got to pay for the degrees.

Technical education in the USA has generally been run by the for profit sector. They have not done a very good job and the country is full of their graduates that are deep in debt and waiting tables for a living.

It used to be you got some technical training in high school and you could actually go and get a job or at least apprentice in a technical job. Gone are those days.

Student loans near $1.5 trillion. Another bubble on the rise?

Banks were smart enough to get those 'loan guarantees'....non-extinguishable...before they floated all that money back to the states...

Population pays this as more of a Ponzi scheme than a Bubble, It won't burst unless everyone stops washing those dishes for their food...

EDIT: second thought...If you are looking for a 'bubble' it's the value of the 'diploma' that could burst...

Georgia is having funding issues, because all you fucking carpetbaggers are swooping into the state, to take advantage of the Hope Grant!
