They did get offensive lineman Casey Manning and Ronald Ross back to bolster their offensive front. Both had missed significant time with injuries. “This ranks right up there with the worst years we’ve ever had with injuries to key players,” Roth said. “It happens from time to time. You simply have to deal with it. There are no excuses. Depth is an issue. I was proud of the way we played last week.
