Rufus69
Morning gurus.... The Bent-Nosed Boys outa North Morven did a pretty decent job forecasting Round 1 of the Georgia AAAAAAA playoffs....only missing on 1 (upset) of 16 games. So...Me and "Doc" asked them to do it again for Round 2. The same rules applied. No bias...no funny business...just straight forward analysis. They gave us the data this morning. I, personally, don't agree with each one...but...them fellers do it for a living...so.... Brookwood defeats Milton (should be a real good game) Archer edges Mill Creek (a game I'd be willing to pay to see) Mountain View UPSETS Parkview (Big Orange gets juiced) North Gwinnett UPSETS Grayson (you heard it here first) Marietta outlasts Woodstock (56%) Hillgrove stops Tift (truly hope the BNB is wrong) Lowndes outscores McEachern (no mudhole) Colquitt over Walton (could be by forfeit, by cheating, or by playing Packer football...but Colquitt wins) The Tift/Hillgrove game will be a monster...but it's hard to beat the Hawks at home. Tift COULD do it...but the BNB just doesn't see it that way. I think Archer barely beat Mill Creek earlier this year...and in the words of the Great Lord Jim Hughes..."It's hard to beat a good team twice in one season"...but Archer is gonna do it. The McEachern/Lowndes game will be a dandy...but they're playing it in Martin Stadium (home of the 450 member Georgia Bridgemen). The BNB says MAC just doesn't have the offense to keep up with Lowndes. Milton could upset Brookwood. It could happen. But the BNB puts it at 62% in Brookwood's favor. There is nobody in their right mind that would think...North Gwinnett would beat Grayson and Colquitt would beat Walton in the same night. But...that's exactly what North Morven says will happen. They put North Gwinnett with a 55% chance and Colquitt with a 52% chance. Hard to believe. And just for the record...Moutain View is the best 4 seed we've seen in the playoffs in a long time. Is it Friday night yet? Go You Hairy Hawgs !!!!! Rufus>>

HawgGoneIt
I guessed that NG would beat Grayson and Colquitt would beat Walton in my pick 'em. Of course with no chance to win the pick 'em at this point, I'm free to just throw stuff at the wall and hope it sticks. Friday can't get here quick enough this week.

First of all...I'm like CBS...I care. Second of all...if I really wanted to...I could simply cross the river into Kingsland and catch the game on GPB. But...finally...I'll probably just stream it while sitting home eating shrimp and crab...sipping on REAL wine...and wondering exactly what will transpire in order to keep the "Facebook Mafia" fired up and ranting. Oh, I forgot to mention...I'll be in 70 degree temps. Rufus>>
