I wish I could do a "transfer portal," but that is a hard one to keep up with. The hard part is some coaches are reluctant to mention there is a transfer - in or out - mentioned, both Catholic and Public.

Last year, I had no idea of the mass exodus from Camden Catholic. I wouldn't be surprised if they had 20 underclassmen transfer out.

Probably cause every single team is jealous, like if they don’t  like that a kid didn’t transfer to their school,  a coach or parent will fill a complaint against the other school... I don’t get it...

ive seen public schools lose their stud athlete to a BNU school and then go on Twitter and congratulate and will both the school and the kid good Luck and root for them, while say Delbarton goes and files a grievance to the state for the kid transferring

hope that made sense

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if Josh McKenzie is actually going to Yale (or playing football there if he is)?  Didn't see his name listed on the 2019 roster...

Doesn’t look like roster updated with freshmen yet ....

you on Yale site or something different?

Not to be an asshole because this was directed for someone else.

But you get 5 years to get 4 in, and you can  petition for a sixth year in a medical situation. Not sure what the exact term is.

Never heard of 7 seasons granted but there’s a limit on number of games.

Mumbo jumbo.

That’s the term “ medical hardship waiver”,  so NOT to be a dick in return... I said I never heard of a 7th year.

But now I know, okay, thanks.

There is shady shit an ivy can do to get a player an extra year but it’s not common.

Usually it entails taking someone off the roster for a year and saying he has academic issues or family problems or some bs.

I know a qb or 2 that it happened to in the Ives and it paid dividends in both cases.

The QBs were studs but were still backups so that bought  them two years to start instead of one.

An injury redshirt would probably be a participation rule.

Ie. the player cant participate in more than X games or X quarters.

Not sure the exact value(s) of X.

But if he didn’t participate in X before the season ending injury he can apply for a medical redshirt.

Pretty rare outlier. But cool info nonetheless. Basically, if you keep getting injured and don’t play, you can get medical hardship. Makes sense I guess.
