ATLien12x
Wouldn’t have mattered. Georgia had 45 yards and was shutout in the second half outside of a busted assignment 80 yard touchdown. Defense played great. Tua sparked it. Best team won hats off to Georgia for a great year though

Havent heard anyone say that. Next year will be a slight rebuilding year IMO. In 2019 and on GA will be back. We lose too much to be right back after this season.
ECHS05
If Roquan, Deandre Baker, and Trenton Thompson all leave early for the Draft... The D will step back. Actually just losing Roquan the D will step back, he was incredible this season. I think Roquan leaves. Its 50/50 on the other 2.

Have to look at this way....UGA clearly gameplanned for Jalen and they executed that gameplan. Didnt gameplan for Tua which is reasonable considering what were the chances he play. Best team won hats off to Georgia for a great year though Sony got 3 carries for 28 of those yards and we didnt see him again. Had we used Sony & Swift on that drive, after Michel got us 2 1st downs & we abandoned him... It couldve most definitely been different. Had they gotten that blocked punt right... You act like Bama dominated or something, they were losing the ENTIRE GAME. If you werent a Bama homer youd see it different.

I thought he may have been hurt...but that was not the case. Losing Wims did affect us...but the Ridley kid stepped up. Was extremely proud of him. The biggest thing that hurt us was not being able to pick up the first downs late in the game. That and...Malcolm was having a TOUGH time covering anybody. Truth is...we just didn't finish the drill. I really believe UGA in both playoff games even though they beat OU didnt run the ball enough

I realize we were trying to run clock...but that's HARD to do against a defense like Bama. You hafta keep them guessing. When we went conservative with Chubb...we just didn't have the push up front to get the first downs. And the irony is... We STILL had our chance to win it. In fact anyone that actually knows me and views my Facebook can see I gave Georgia all the credit in the world. They kicked our ass in the first half. Up front too. I do believe Alabama was the better team and made the plays down the stretch. Football is a four quarter game. Kirby knew was Tua gonna play according to his presser. That said, Chaney called a great game against Auburn (SEC), Oklahoma, and Alabama first half. Don’t kick him too much.
