No one bought into anything. This was a fact. DLS declined due to scheduling. Central Catholic cancelled 2 games next year to take DLS and Lincoln of Stockton. Now we know DLS had already offered up the game with Central Catholic. They had the week open for Folsom but had their eyes on a mediocre private school to rev up for a national game against a southern school on ESPN. The Folsom game carried too much risk for them with everything Folsom returns. These are facts. Not anything else. DLS has been given the benefit of the doubt because they haven't lost go a NorCal opponent in 30 years. But they still haven't played NorCals top teams during that time span.
