954gator
Haha this would be great, but I doubt it. Saban's militaristic style just doesn't work in the NFL. Players would be like F that. You run!

PrepGridiron
I have a feeling that after this year and maybe next Alabama starts to take a serious step back. Playing the freshman at the end of that game will have its affect. I recall this article when Jalen took over (http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2017/08/nick_sabans_miscommunication_-.html) I get that you need to play the person that is going to give you the best chance to win, but I just think you can't do this without it causing discontent. I also think all the coaches leaving and going to SEC programs will make for a tougher job from both a recruiting perspective and a coaching perspective. Saban might want to get out if he starts seeing the cracks too. He can go out ask for Jon Gruden type contract, get the guaranteed money. If he does great, its a win. If he doesn't he retires and he is still the greatest college coach of all time.

They will most definitely have a dominant front on both sides of the LOS with excellent backs, and they now have a poised QB to boot. They're gonna be pretty damn good IMO. When serious chatter starts about him retiring is when recruiting will slip. Probably 3-4 years down the line.
HooverOutlaw
What most people don't understand Alabama and Ohio St imo are the only 2 schools that have given total unquestioned control. Saban tells the school president what to do tells boosters to go fuck themselves.
HooverOutlaw
Louisville has an ass whipping coming. No Lamar Jackson Bama 54-17.
Mjd33
I would be shocked if he left bama. Having tua for next two years he can definitely win one more putting him in category of his own. I think matt Patricia will be Giants next coach but waiting until pats season is over to accept the job which might be awhile ....
HooverOutlaw
From a coaching standpoint Saban is the best ever. From an overall impact Bryant is the best.

TheMaximumHornetSting
If Nick Saban could coach in the pro leagues then he'd still be with the dolphins.... Also the worst NFL team could beat the best college team... College and NFL are 2 completely different worlds...

He had 2 Qbs transfer out this year and wins a national championship with a true sophomore and true freshman QB. A couple of true freshman WRs. A true freshman at LT. Najee Harris a true freshman led the team in rushing in a national championship game. Alabama is fully loaded next year on both sides of the ball and yea oh wait Damien Harris a 1000 years rusher just passed on the draft and is coming back to Alabama. He is a 1000 yard rusher when sharing the ball with 4 other very capable RBs in Bo Josh Jacobs Brian Robinson and najee Harris. If minkah for whatever reason decides to go back to school put it in the bag it's Alabama next year
