Texasball
Looking forward to another great Track and Field season here in Texas and Nationally! Some of the fastest kids last year were only Jr's from around the nation. Will Anthony Schwartz from Florida be running this year? I seen him in the UA all-star game couple of weeks ago. Top 3 sprinters from TX returning 1. Kalon Barnes who beat Schwartz head up last year and who is also had the 2nd fastest 200m time nationally - finishing 2nd behind Tyrese Cooper in head to head race - both ran their best ever 200m in that race. 2. Keishawn Everly - Fort Worth TX - Finished 2nd Class 5A State meet 100m 3. Kesean Carter - The Woodlands TX - Won 6A State meet 100m There is also many other top sprinters from FL, GA, LA, CA, and TX that will make noise this year in the 100, 200, and 400 Looking back at the 4 x 100 relay - Port Arthur Memorial went 39.80 to win the TX 5A state championship - Only third time in history that a school in the USA ran under 40 flat - Joining two other TX schools. If American Heritage has all hands on board they could bust 40 flat this year! This might be the year that 3 or 4 schools bust 40 Flat. I am still amazed at the numbers that the Great State of Texas puts up in this event. 18 of the top 30 national best times

My ass only runs when the popo is chasing me. Otherwise a quick 30 minute JOG is all I do, But out right sprinting on purpose and no police chasing you? HELL NAH!!
AztecPadre
The real athletes should be playing baseball or something in the spring. But running? In the heat? HAHAHAHA. Its not like its going to help you in football.

Texas is better than the rest of the nation in this event and we both know Texas by it self is not nearly half of the US population. Hell, TX has less people than Florida and Georgia combined.
