I think he would be smart to chose Minnesota. Play football or wrestling at the d1 level. Im sorry for just ending my thought process GSB......Minnesota wrestling is good and Minnesota football is better then Rutgers

Why the posting on Josh for football?  Should he not be getting more ink about his wrestling instead of football?  Im sure he has way better offers in that sport than football.  He has not lived up anywhere near to the hype when he first came in as a freshman.

He beat a chippy wrestler from Blair Academy.  Showed class.  I like the kid.  That opponent was a douche.

In his defense, he’s battled lots of injuries. His Biggest football problem he’s a tweener and hasn’t grown much. But he’s a legit athlete and I would take a chance on him if I had extra scholarship. No one will outwork that kid ....

I saw josh at the WNO dual and the kid is built but his legs do need to get bigger. Seems like his lower body needs some work but his upper body is legit. I think his best path is thru westling but that is up for him and his family to decide. Lot more money in football if they believe he can make the NFL

Yeah he's on the shorter side and mos def injury prone.  I would have liked to have a good sample of games where he was 100%  for like at least half the season to get a better read on him.  When he first started school he was hyped like he was the second coming.  I too based on his youth football highlights thought he was going to be special but has not panned out.  Who knows maybe he has a breakout senior year.

It’s REALLY f***ing hard to make it to the nfl .... and really hard to STAY in the nfl when you do make it.

He should do what he wants in college as it’s a 4-5 year commitment. I can’t see him doing both sports.... that’s a really TALL order .... wrestling in college requires even more discipline/commitment than football does imo. My college buddies who wrestled were ALL in.....

I don’t think his stats will say “breakout” because BC plays tough teams (almost) every week and he does share the carries with another 1A RB/home run threat in Rahmir Johnson.  But I expect Josh to stand out more than 99% of the players in each game of their’s this year.

After watching BC games, most will walk away saying he was the best player out there almost every game.

I said its up to him and his family to make a decision of what sport he is going to do. I agreed his best path is thru wrestling.

Exactly on all points. He should take one of the ivy league offers if he wants to play football and wrestle. A degree from there sets u up huge not to mention the contacts you make there.
