TheBlockIsHot
I hope this becomes a trend. But in CA, there is NO WAY this will ever happen. We have way too many yuppies that will pay 20 bucks for a hot dog.

Why would these stadiums change when assholes are gonna continue to spend 65$ for a hotdog
HawgGoneIt
Arthur Blank said that this would be the model and he held to his guns. If a restaurant charges 5.99 for a combo outside of the stadium, they would have to charge the same inside the stadium or not be welcome to do business there. He was of course right. It shouldn't cost anymore for the same food inside as it would outside.

Ironic that Blank is from Queens.

It could happen in New York, and probably should happen everywhere. It probably wouldn't though. As it's looking, it's a great business model. Bormio
As long as renting the space is not exorbitant, this is great.

TheBlockIsHot
I think he had to do it. People in GA don't generally have the extra funds that the big coasties do, and therefore won't pay the inflated prices. I think this business model works for that area for sure. As for CA, we have way too many yuppies who will pay for 14 dollar beers and 10 dollar hot dogs, so that will never change. Kind of sucks. They sale $8.00 hamburgers, $3.00 Fries and $2.50 water, at varsity games. A hot dog cost you $3.00. This is some nerve considering all but one of the systems 5 stadiums only have one side. You must sit with the enemy. I view the high school games in a different light normally. Most of the time, civics clubs or school entities are making the money off of concessions. In Moultrie, the Lion's Club, the Band etc. are making money so, if I had to pay a little extra for a hamburger, I'm good with that. If I'm at an NFL game and Wendy's is selling 8 dollar burgers, yeah, I have a problem with that.
