Why is 6A so big 2190 and above??? So a school with 2200 kids is in the same class as Allen. You can really make a 7A. 2190-4000 for 6A. Then 4000 and up for 7A

Nolebull813
Where do the Katy schools get all their kids from? They have like eight high schools with only 17,000 population.

All the others are in other neighborhoods and unincorporated parts but are part of Katy ISD. Anyone else feel free to correct me.

Nolebull813
Makes a lot more sense. It was confusing. I always thought it was one huge city being that it had eight high schools. I've been to Katy before. It's really nice. They got some mall there that looks like a freaking amusement park
BUFORDGAWOLVES
That whole northeast side of Dallas is blowing up, you can see the monster stadium of AHS from 75.
Cracker
This is one of the craziest districts I have ever seen: The amount of travel this creates is absurd, especially for San Angelo and Abilene.
BUFORDGAWOLVES
McKinney is building or finished a stadium supposedly to surpass Allen but it's shared by 3-4 HS schools in that district. Cracks were showing up in the pour.

Trinity, Haltom, Hurst and North Richland are neighbors (suburbs) Weatherford 2 hours out, San Angelo 4 hours from Hurst, Abilene 2 1/2 hours from that neighborhood cluster,

Welcome to The GHSA logic. Region 1 7A Camden gets short shafted constantly. Tift,Colquitt and Lowndes are all within 45 minutes of each other. Camden is in the same region. But it takes 3 hours to get to the nearest Region school Lowndes. If you google it it'll tell you 2h. But Im telling you from personal experience its much longer. That area has schools with comparable enrollments that miss the playoffs
