Columbiafan Posted February 2, 2018 Report Share Posted February 2, 2018 Well everyone it is back This tournament will be used to determine the national champions Rules are simple Seeding determines who would be hypothetical host (higher seed in matchup hosts) All state locks will be seeded higher than wild cards State locks (except ones for the 4 tournament states) were determined by maxpreps rankings Wild cards were ranked in order by maxpreps rankings Georgia seeding was based fully on tournament because of them having 6 reps instead of 8 like Cali, Texas and Florida FL, CA, and TX had 8 reps determined by tournament then seeded based on maxpreps rankings Here are the teams, I'll release the first round matchups later, in order to make things simpler i will only release one region at a time but i will switch regions after each round https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gUC5qHsw6_FfmKMwr188E_BZ6rzh32CaTESuGA_qixg/edit?usp=drivesdk&ouid=109749082641501272382 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes I do that for 2 reasons 1 i don't want power states like Texas and California having 20 out of 32 teams in the tournament (which also why i did less wild cards in the regions outside of Central but since there were a few Arkansas teams ranked high i was able to keep the number reasonable and respectable) And 2 I want there to be the idea every state has a shot (aibiet some very thin shot) at winning the tournament Plus since some states rarely play oos it's interesting to talk about certain matchups that may come up which makes it more fun 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
