HawgGoneIt
I actually liked it. It wasn't no Willie Nelson or Conway Twitty, but it was pretty good I thought. I was entertained for not necessarily liking JT's music.
TheBlockIsHot
It was about as bad as @ECHS05s GA homerism. Which is bad.

HawgGoneIt
I liked the Prince hologram and symbol lighting up outside. I also liked that JT went into the stands and hung out with that kid while singing and let the kid live stream it or whatever. Very cool and approachable. The kid will never ever forget that moment in his life. He was already at the super bowl, which is amazing alone, and BAM! it got even better.
Irish
It was vanilla. Nothing controversial. Bruno Mars was another level with his half time performance.

He has come to the pebble beach AT&T national pro-am for years now and he has always been a crowd favorite. He always let's my kids take selfies with him. Nothing but respect for that guy. Scratch golfer to boot.

Especially for the kids.
Eddyr2
It would have went from a B- to a A+ if JT would have rocked the troll wig at the end
Nolebull813
I recorded the game and left the house for an hour to run late errands just so i can specifically fast forward through the halftime show and the commercials. It is God awful. Painful to watch. I actually caught up eventually and the commercials were so terrible I had to pause it and clean the house 😂 I got a lot of shit done due to avoiding this crap 😂
Coletrain06
Parts of it were bad. Parts of it were good. Most was just 'meh.' Overall it was a very safe show. JT is supremely talented tho. So his talent is not in question Bruno Mars is the greatest entertainer of this generation, so comparisons to him are not fair. Camera cuts, lighting, coordinated lasers, inside/outside stadium shots, and the total movement by all the participants from platforms to stages was excellent. His voice seemed weak at times, but the "Show" was fast, entertaining, colorful, and went off without a hitch. The producer did a fine job. 1

I enjoyed Kesha doing "Praying", Bruno Mars and Cardi B, Ben Platt singing "Somewhere", the "Tears in Heaven" tribute to the Las Vegas concert massacre, and Patti LuPone's rendition of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" wasn't too shabby either. 1 hour ago, Coletrain06 said: JT is supremely talented tho. rockinl
He's a super talented kid. I thought it was a good choice. Compared to the college NC halftime crap slinging the "n" word around for 10 minutes, this was MUCH better.
