His sophomore tape is fun to watch and he’s going to draw comparisons to a number of sub 6-0 quarterbacks that have shown they can be very productive. His escapability and ability to make off platform throws reminds a little of former Texas A&M standout Johnny Manziel. Although just 5-10, 165 pounds, Brown has a live arm and can make a lot of throws you wouldn’t expect a young quarterback to make. - Greg Biggins “He actually reminds me a little of Bryce (Young) at the same stage,” noted QB coach Danny Hernandez said. “I love his twitch and ability to throw from different arm slots and angles. His ability to be so sudden is what reminds me of Bryce. The kid loves to work and his best football is ahead of him.” https://247sports.com/Article/22-QB-Emmett-Brown-is-an-exciting-young-signal-caller--135824624/ http://www.hudl.com/video/3/6349536/5d7840a77bde070e08d65ca7 Same playing style as Bryce. Will be interesting to see if he can win the job. If he's anything close to what Bryce was at that age, then that's a HUGE pickup for MD. Should also be an easy transition for the O. Brilliant, brilliant move. LET'S GO!!!!

Prepping under Money & TK is going to take his game to another level. Second year in a row MD has turned down a high profile recruit from transferring in because of graduation requirements. At least 20 hours of community service is also required per year. This is to avoid kids coming in for semester and leaving like Moss wanted to do. Same thing with Kendall Milton and Logan Loya last year, administration didn’t like the dollars situation and said no. No transferring in for one semester to play. Loyola Academy I think. They will need another team of that caliber to stand a chance That was 15 Loyola. I was in Chicago to see them play just after seeing SJB destroy MD at the bowl a couple of weeks earlier. The Loyola team I saw that year was huge, fast and nasty... easily a top 10 team that year and would have played SJB straight up, no problem. You are correct about needing a team like that to deal with SJB. While they recruit in IL, just like everywhere else, its not as ruthless as out here with MD and SJB. The IHSAA seems to keep decent balance in the state which leaves a lot of good to great programs but as of today... not elite.
DevilDog
@Ararar @AztecPadre That cool SB Commercial with the kid running with the ball and delivering it before the game. Is Cali Kid and already has an offer from Illinois: The NFL 100 kid is pretty good at football For starters, his name is Maxwell “Bunchie” Young, he is 12 years old and this isn’t even the first time he’s achieved football stardom. Young, who lives in Los Angeles, was named the 2017 Sports Illustrated SportsKid of the Year after posting 61 touchdowns in a season and a half of youth football and destroying the field in track competitions. He was good enough to get a college offer from Illinois at the age of 10. 1

ATLien12x
SJB has no business playing Deerfield Beach and East St Louis. This is their weakest non league schedule in years. Hopefully their open will be against IMG, SFA, and another elite team. Playing a Florida public that’s never won a state championship and and a lower class Illinois public is strange. Expect a lot more from a defending national champion that recruits talent rich SoCal heavily. That’s Georgia type scheduling right there

This is a great opportunity for them to show the country that they belong as an elite team. They have been in The Tiers for the past two years. Last year they went to OVERTIME with a 2A Missouri team Colquitt put a running clock on at halftime (35-0). They also lost by two touchdowns and allowed 52 to King, Detroit who I’ve seen play numerous times in their title game and isn’t even close to the level of a national power Embarrassing for SJB.

Agree with you!... As a Cali Fan, SJB's Scheduling has been a bunch of Smoke and Mirrors over the last couple of years.... All the While Negro is saying "Teams are Afraid to Play Us", Yet they have declined a game with SFA on SJB's home filed for 2020.... This 2020 schedule is shaping up to be a real Black Eye for Defending MNC SJB and Especially Negro with the Best Team on there MNW was not even the #1 Team in FL... Yet somehow, both Cen10 and DLS are Playing SFA this year, Cen10 is playing them on SJB's Home Field and DLS is playing them on the read... When you look at the Fact that Cen10 has Played IMG Twice and will play SFA This Year, MD played IMG and SFA, it just looks like Negro is full of BS when he says "We will Play Anyone" and "No One Wants to play us".... Hopefully Negro will grow a Pair and re-visit the game with SFA and make it happen.... I don't think so though, because based on his schedule the last 2 years, Negro is afraid to lose outside of MD...
