The new OC they hired must have a lot to do with this because the offense they ran with Fromm was underwhelming and couldn't have been very appealing to JT. Kirby's recent quarterback history isn't the best either. Duckburghsfinest1987 Posted May 29, 2020 Report Share Posted May 29, 2020 (edited) I remember he was labeled as being the nation's top youth QB prior to MD, but now the son of Steve Clarkson is at Bosco, and last season, the QB for CDM in Orange County, Ethan Garbers, I was happy to hear that he threw for some impressive yardage, nice stats. Because what went through my mind was, it's nice to see a public school turning out an elite QB, because it really seems private schools, especially MD, has been spoiled when it comes to attracting elite QBs to their schools. I believe in all of Rollo's HC career at MD, only 2 QB's did not go on to play college football. I remember these public schools used to have an awesome QB lineage, not anymore unfortunately, Los Al and Hart of Newhall. Mater Dei plays with 50-70 transfers. Folsom MAY have 5-7 transfers on any given year. Quite small for such a successful national powerhouse public school Winning with homegrown kids from your youth program is fun!
