Hahnville beats Acadiana only to get whopped by Zachary the next week in the title game.... Acadiana probably wouldve played them better. We start district with 4 losses when you have to visit places like Ouachita's Mad House I really think the power rating system (in 5A baseball and basketball) is biased in favor of North and SW LA teams that can play all the top 1A B and C schools that don't really exist near NOLA, while NOLA teams have to play each other more since there are 4 districts within an hours drive of one another... EXCEPT the northern 5As risk points by playing the likes of 4A Bossier, 3A Rayville, 4A Woodlawn, 3ACarroll, 3AWossman, etc Those teams are normally very good on average...Sometimes stacked... Half of West Monroe's losses (7) have come from 43 - 0 Rayville, 35 - 3 Natchitoches Central, and 28 - 9 Ouachita... and half of Ouachita's losses came very early in the season, they are playing as well as anybody right now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
